Who Is Sydney Dalton? Bieber Public Enemy No. 1

Those of you on Twitter may have noticed "Sydney Dalton" surging as a trending topic on the microblogging site today, but chances are you've never heard the name -- until now. Well, Sydney is just an average girl who's on Twitter and has a YouTube channel, where she rambles about loving lip gloss, hanging out with her friends and talking on the phone. Oh, and she maybe met Justin Bieber! And is completely obsessed with him. Or used to be? It's complicated. And now she's being totally cyber bullied over it. If your brain hasn't completely melted and you're still invested in these riveting tween matters, let's move on.

Dalton, who claims to be 20-years-old but looks considerably younger, incurred the wrath of Bieber's loyal and militant army of fans after posting a video to her channel of her and some friends ripping posters of the teen pop star off of her walls. Sacrilege! Ignited, the Bieberverse soon aggressively attacked Sydney, going as far as sending death threats. (Kim Kardashian received similar threats after joking about a Bieber romance earlier this year.)

The moral of this story? Cyber bullying is not alright, kids. It's silly, childish, dangerous, illegal and maybe a little pathetic. Calm down, play nice and be more concerned about your own love for the Biebs than someone else's. The end.

She never claimed to be 20. She's 15 and will be 16 in December.. I'm a bieber fan, not one of the ignorant ones that's hating on Sydney though. I actually like Sydney. She's nice and funny. People just don't know her and spread all these rumors about her. It's stupid, I think.

I'm a big fan of Justin Bieber. But at least they warned us beliebers might get offended. Not everyone likes him, and that's ok. I still do. The upside, I got to hear a Justin Bieber song while watching the video. :) I have no hate towards Sydney.
