Jon Gosselin to Kate: 'Pay Me Or I'll Report You to Child Services'

Reality star and octo-parent Jon Gosselin threatened to report ex-wife Kate to Child Protective Services if she didn't pay him a huge chunk of money, RadarOnline.com reports.

The proof comes in handwritten documents leaked by Jon's post-Kate gal-pal Hailey Glassman. Radar calls it "the ugliest chapter in a brutal divorce."

Glassman says: "We were in bed and Jon called Kate on speaker phone. He wrote down what he wanted to say to her and then he read from his notes. He told her, 'You either give me money, or I'm going to call CPS [Child Protective Services].'" Part of the plan came from Jon and Kate's daughter Maddy hurting her arm; Jon threatened to tells authorities Kate harmed the 9-year-old.

Glassman says Gosselin likes referring to himself in third person, which is reflected in the notes. One reads, "Jon giving Kate ultimatums. He privately extorts Kate. If you don't do what I want, I'll do this." Another says, "Need 50k or 100k now. 24/48 hours or I'll go to DA [district attorney]."

"He always referred to himself in the third person," Glassman tells Radar. "I found it so strange. It was almost like he thought he was still on camera. Kate would just say, 'You're sick Jon, you're sick. How could you do this to me? You need help.' I just remember thinking at the time that if he could do this to the mother of his kids, what would he do to me?"

Glassman says Kate "started screaming" during Jon's threats to extort her, and Jon laughed. The money grab was not an isolated incident, either.

"There were so many times I witnessed it," Glassman says. "That's how he works. He'd say, 'I'm going to go public with the way you treat the kids, I'm going to call CPS and the news and tell them everything unless you give me what I want.' "

Gosseling took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to slam the report.

"RadarOnline has been duped again by Hailey Glassman, who is apparently without a job and desperate for money," he wrote. "This article contains so many lies, they are too numerous to count. It is completely false and without any merit."

But another Gosselin ex, Kate Major, is standing up for Glassman, telling PopEater, "It doesn't surprise me in the least that Jon would deny Hailey's accusations about threatening to call CPS on Kate. He constantly bashed Kate to me and even told me he wanted full custody of the kids just for the money. He was very vindictive towards the mother of his children. It was if he was out to get her."

Glassman, who obtained the notes in Jon's New York apartment while the two were dating and living together, calls him a man with "no boundaries."

Neither of these two deserve to have such beautiful children. They are both money-hungry, greedy, and insensitive to the needs of their children. My heart breaks for those kids.

This is the filthiest half of a seedy, self promoting pair who cashed in on their children and still expect a gullible public to watch their trashy lives, thus contributing money to their cause. A pair of true losers in every sense of the word!

you know magoo that we wonder why, if you dislike these people so intensely, do you torture yourself by going to sites that address them?! apparently you've never been a single parent trying to make a good life for the children. would it be more practical for kate to work 8-10 hours a day nursing? aren't we all entitled to have goals and dreams for our families? she works very long, hard hours and she does wonderful things for the kids! even though jon is a bum, most men work long hours and no one thinks they're bad parents...in fact the longer dad's travel and work, the more respect they get. quality verses quanity--humm. i am nearly 70 yrs. old and i love and admire Kate for doing what she needs to do to earn the most money to provide for her family. too bad jon doesn't have kate's work ethics.

I watched the show when it was on...when I watched, I always thought Jon was "bothered" with the whole "father" thing. He would roll his eyes and sigh when he had to get up and DO SOMETHING with his kids. I would think that Jon couldn't handle those 8 kids without SEVERAL nannies. He ain't cute...and money can't last forever, so the hunnies on his arm will fade as the cash goes. Kate is working...WORKING...doing stuff that pays the bills. Nothing any of the other TV personalities aren't doing. Jon was NEVER a reason I tuned in. I thought it was marvelous how a mother could rock with all those kids. She did him a favor and included him in the on-camera interviews. She really has a good personality. For all intent and purpose, she seems like the winner here. NO CONTEST!

He only rolled his eyes after hearing Kate's witchy voice bark orders at him for the 50th time that day. Imagine living like that? She is a control freak. I just wish she didn't disgust her relatives so that we can hear the real truth. I bet they have alot to say about her.

Any of you posters above would take advantage of making the kind of money Kate does vs. being a nurse and being gone from your kids many hours a day. A news story would have gone into weather or not she actually owes him any money. How cdould this article leave out the why part of this story.
If she does owe him the money then is she punishing him? What is the reason for her not giving him his part?
If she does not owe him the money then why is he asking for it by means of threat?
I allways thought she was a Nag and overly bossy.
I also thought he got swept into this train wreck. This does not mean he did not make mistakes, it means he made a bunch of them.
