Jon Gosselin to Kate: 'Pay Me Or I'll Report You to Child Services'

Reality star and octo-parent Jon Gosselin threatened to report ex-wife Kate to Child Protective Services if she didn't pay him a huge chunk of money, RadarOnline.com reports.

The proof comes in handwritten documents leaked by Jon's post-Kate gal-pal Hailey Glassman. Radar calls it "the ugliest chapter in a brutal divorce."

Glassman says: "We were in bed and Jon called Kate on speaker phone. He wrote down what he wanted to say to her and then he read from his notes. He told her, 'You either give me money, or I'm going to call CPS [Child Protective Services].'" Part of the plan came from Jon and Kate's daughter Maddy hurting her arm; Jon threatened to tells authorities Kate harmed the 9-year-old.

Glassman says Gosselin likes referring to himself in third person, which is reflected in the notes. One reads, "Jon giving Kate ultimatums. He privately extorts Kate. If you don't do what I want, I'll do this." Another says, "Need 50k or 100k now. 24/48 hours or I'll go to DA [district attorney]."

"He always referred to himself in the third person," Glassman tells Radar. "I found it so strange. It was almost like he thought he was still on camera. Kate would just say, 'You're sick Jon, you're sick. How could you do this to me? You need help.' I just remember thinking at the time that if he could do this to the mother of his kids, what would he do to me?"

Glassman says Kate "started screaming" during Jon's threats to extort her, and Jon laughed. The money grab was not an isolated incident, either.

"There were so many times I witnessed it," Glassman says. "That's how he works. He'd say, 'I'm going to go public with the way you treat the kids, I'm going to call CPS and the news and tell them everything unless you give me what I want.' "

Gosseling took to his Twitter page on Wednesday to slam the report.

"RadarOnline has been duped again by Hailey Glassman, who is apparently without a job and desperate for money," he wrote. "This article contains so many lies, they are too numerous to count. It is completely false and without any merit."

But another Gosselin ex, Kate Major, is standing up for Glassman, telling PopEater, "It doesn't surprise me in the least that Jon would deny Hailey's accusations about threatening to call CPS on Kate. He constantly bashed Kate to me and even told me he wanted full custody of the kids just for the money. He was very vindictive towards the mother of his children. It was if he was out to get her."

Glassman, who obtained the notes in Jon's New York apartment while the two were dating and living together, calls him a man with "no boundaries."

Jon is the type of male that would not have stayed around if the TLC show had not occured. He is so immature thinking that the world revolves areound "his" needs only. Is Jon paying his child support? Bet not!

He was in on it from the beginning so he too is to blame if someone did call CPS. As for the former girlfriend, she too has no boundaries as she was arrested for possession and distribution of illegal narcotics including hashish oil and then, being an adulteress while lving off of the money he stole out of the household account that paid for his childrens bills.

When I used to watch that show in the beginning, I always felt so sorry for Jon because Kate was such a nightmare. Now it's obvious they are both crazy. You have to feel sorry for the kids. Hopefully there is at least one set of rational grandparents who have a bond with those children. They sure need it.

Leave her alone people. She is making a living in jobs that can pay her a decent wage. She is away from her family less then a lot of other working Mothers. They also have babysitters for their children or put them in nursery schools. So why in the world is she doing wrong. Also her children are only in the weekly show and not a part of these other jobs.

I tried to watch a little of Kate Plus 8 last night, just to see how the kids are getting along. They were so cute, and are still..but watching boring Kate trying to prance around New York in high heels, looking like someone wearing them for first time to the prom is just too much! Maddy is turning into a drama queen with a sense of entitlement, just like her Mom. Kate's manufactured boobs were hanging out of her top, and she insists on trying to dress like Brittany Spears, instead of a mother of eight! And OOOHHHH, it's so crowded in the Gift Shop at the Statue of Liberty...What are all these OTHER peasants doing here interrupting the Queen's visit! These two are a piece of work, and Thank God, the kids don't seem to notice yet that their parents are jerks, but I think Maddy and Cara are starting to get a clue!

I watched it too and was disgusted with her behavior and the way she dressed.Obviously she wants attention but gets upset when people speak to her. The show is more about her now and she is not what we want to see. I get really tired of all the fake smiles and loud laughter. While I was once a fan, I am no longer. I am all for her earning a living and taking care of her children but where she was once down to earth and loved cooking and cleaning and being a mommy she now only thinks about being a movie star. Sorry Kate you lost me as a fan:(

Wife extort money all the time from ex husbands. The threaten to call the police for abuse of then or the children and judges usually believe them. Because divorce is alway bias toward the woman.
So why is this different.

I was one of the only men in court going for a restraining order against my ex, and I got it only because I could produce witnesses to the issue. And she had other order against her at the time.

This is a very OLD picture. He has actually lost alot of weight goes to the gym daily etc. I wish they would stop reporting half truths or stories that happened years ago & report it as a recent event.

Is he serious? If Jon knows something about some abusive behaviors that Kate may have with HIS CHILDREN then Why his he Sitting back and doing NOTHING ABOUT IT??? He's full of S....!!! He's just trying to extort moneys now that he's been exposed for the LOSEER and the PATHETIC father he really is!! Kate's only doing what she now has to do to SUPPORT 8 KIDS ON HER OWN!! Jon should try it sometime!!

I think Kate is great and the kids are adorable.

i am sick of the bickering between jon and kate. look jon quit his job to stay home so kate could travel around. give me a break, its the kids that are suffering. stop with the reality show and be home and be a mother . you are not a celebrity, you stunk on dancing with the stars. jon and kate should sit down and be amicable for the kids sake.

If kate would go back to being a nurse ,she would have to put in 12 hour shifts and sometimes double so she would be spending less time with her kids ....they will be little only for awhile so I don't blame her for taking what she has and running with it.

She has several jobs! He is a leech! When she is not working, she is at home with the kids. Since he is not working at all, what is his excuse for not spending his "spare" time with the kids? He only thinks with his zipper-yuck!
