Paris Hilton Officially Banned From Wynn Las Vegas Properties

After her arrest last Friday for cocaine possession, heiress Paris Hilton has been officially banned from two resorts on the Las Vegas strip, PEOPLE reports. A spokesperson for the Wynn and Encore resorts confirmed the ban to PEOPLE on Wednesday.

Hilton, 29, was arrested in Las Vegas for possession of a controlled substance on Friday night. Police pulled over a car driven by her boyfriend, nightclub executive Cy Waits, after detecting marijuana coming from the vehicle. When a small container of cocaine was discovered in Hilton's purse, she was briefly detained at Clark County Detention Center before being released on bail.

Wynn Las Vegas also announced on Wednesday that Hilton's boyfriend, Waits, had "separated from the company and is free to pursue other interests." No further details were given. In Waits' arrest report that was released on Wednesday, it was revealed that he failed a sobriety test when he was pulled over last Friday.

Waits has yet to be charged, Clark County Attorney's office said. But he's probably displeased at the turn of events--prior to the incident, he was promoted to Co-Chief of Nightlife Operations at Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.

Hilton's had a busy summer on both sides of the law. Last week, cops came to her Los Angeles residence to arrest a knife-wielding intruder on her property, who was allegedly attempting to break into her home. During the World Cup in July, she was questioned by police in South Africa on suspicion of marijuana charges, but soon released.

I'm not going to pick on her, because I do that way too much. However I'm going to say that maybe she should stop with Vegas and all the parties and start to live like a grown up. Get out of the limelight and work in the Hilton family. Keep an hones job and stay away from all the junk. Sometimes I wonder if she is really happy or just putting it on. Sometimes they are so in the limelight they don't know the rightlight so to speak.

I have no problem with WYNN banning whomever he likes. It happens all the time. But you dont need to press release it. It is a bit hypocritical though since the rooms at the WYNN have been used numerous times by porn producers in filming scenes in them and not hiding as to which hotel they are using. But to be fair of course Steve Wynn has no idea that is going and would be hopping mad if he knew it.
