Jerry Lewis Unplugged: 'I Would Smack Lindsay Lohan in the Mouth'
Jerry Lewis has logged over 60 years in showbiz and has seen it all, but what really gets his goat are the current crop of young and troubled celebutantes who seemingly take their charmed lives for granted. Enemy No. 1: Lindsay Lohan, a name that set Lewis off during a no-holds-barred rant on
'Inside Edition' this week.
"I'd smack her in the mouth if I saw her," he offered the interviewer when asked what he'd do if he saw Lohan. "I would smack her in the mouth and be arrested for abusing a woman!"
He continued, "I would say, 'You deserve this and nothing else' ... WHACK! And then, if she's not satisfied, I'd put her over my knee and spank her and then put her in rehab and that's it."
Perhaps aware he'd just said on television that he'd like to smack and spank a 24-year-old woman, the comedy legend turned more grandfatherly in his tone.
"She doesn't have the right to do to herself what she's doing," he said of Lohan, who just did some time in jail and rehab. "She's not hurting my business. What she's doing is hurting herself, and that hurts me. It hurts me for her."
And while there's been no comment from Ms. Lohan, a friend of her mother, Dina Lohan, tells PopEater the celebrity mom is "shocked" by Lewis' comments.
The curiously in-the-know actor, 84, said stars like Lohan and Paris Hilton are "begging for help."
"What they're saying is, 'I'm f*****d up, can you please help me!"
On Britney Spears, Lewis actually seemed aware that the singer has made improvements in her life, saying, "Britney did it for three years before somebody walked in and helped her!"
Lewis, who is gearing up for this weekend's 'Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon,' returned to a more harsh tone when discussing young celebrities who don't give "anything in return" for their fame.
"I think they need a f*****g spanking! And a reprimand!" he said. "It has nothing to do with [money and fame], it has to do that they have the intelligence of a box of rocks. A bag of snails will give you better answers than those people. I think a great deal of it is ignorance and crying for something other than love."

Oh Sue shut up. Having an affair is IMMORAL not ILLEGAL. Lindsay has had 3 DUIS and has gotten off with a slap on her wrist. If you or I had been found with possession of cocaine and driving under the influence we would have been locked up NO QUESTIONS ASKED for a long time. Lindsay even went into some strangers SUV with three people in the back seats and kidnapped them while she went chasing after her ex agent. If that isn't out of control I don't know what is! She should have been spanked hard by her horrible excuse of a mother a long time ago!!!!

Well if anyone should know about abuse it is Jerry. Ask his first wife and kids. He treated all of them like dirt and cheated on his wife and has a kid out there he does not acknowledge that he has by another woman while married to wife #1. I would like someone to smack this creep in the mouth, if anyone makes me sick it is him. He is nothing but a phony, he calls those kids he is supposed to be representing retard for Gods sakes.
