Bristol Palin and her 'Dancing With the Stars' partner Mark Ballas

Bristol Palin is ready to tango! She and her 'Dancing With the Stars' partner Mark Ballas hit the dance studio for the first time. "It's positive and it's a good competition. I wanted to step outside my comfort zone and have a good time," she told Us Weekly.

ABC sources told PopEater's Naughty But Nice Rob last week, "Bristol is excited and scared" for her debut. Her proud mama Sarah Palin plans to be sitting in the front row cheering her daughter on, the source adds. See more photos of the cast in rehearsals >>

The full cast was announced Monday night. Joining Palin will be David Hasselhoff, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Audrina Patridge, Michael Bolton, 'Dirty Dancing' star Jennifer Grey, 'Brady Bunch' mom Florence Henderson and former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner. The show premieres Sept. 20.

I'm just wondering why Bristol Palin is on Dancing with THE STARS. She is not a star. Her only claim to fame is having an idiot for a mother and getting pregnant out of wedlock. Is she being rewarded for bad behavior(the pregnancy)?

Kick Bristol and cheer for the drunk Hoff....yea you really have it right on this one. She is doing more than most girls that that have babies early on. She is supporting herself and the baby. Imagine if you are this hard on your own kids? Where are they now?

First off who says they have to be stars. Florence Henderson hasnt been a big name for years neither has the guy that played Slater in Saved By The Bell. And its sad that people have to give Bristol crap because her mom is a politician that believes in family values. It should be changed to "Dancing Without the Stars."
"Dancing With Wannabe's."
"Dancing With Has Beens."
"Dancing For a Quick Buck."
"Dancing For Fifteen Minutes of Fame."
"Dancing Because I Can't Do Anything Else."
"Dancing For Exposure."

These silly girls who look up to her are probably getting the wrong message.
1. Levi is going to marry Bristol.
2. Levi drops out of school.
3. Bristol has baby
4. Mommy and daddy split up
5. Daddy and mommy make up
6. Break up
What about this poor child?
She should stay home and take care of her baby, get a job and support herself and baby.

Funny how Bristol gets made out to be a villan because she had a kid and drinks and shes not a star... yet last year on the very same show Kate left all 8 of her children behind so she could go dance she too has done nothing to be considered a star. What about the girls on real world, or jersey shore any of those shows thats all they do is drink and have sex yet they get idolized for it. So I ask who is the pot and who is the kettle?

It is not Stars Dancing With The Stars. It is Dancing With The Stars. Therefore; you don't have to be a star to dance with a star.
