Montana Fishburne Talks Porn Debut, Broken Relationship With Actor Father
Two weeks after Laurence Fishburne's 19-year-old daughter's porn film dropped, she's spoken to
The Hollywood Reporter about the offers she's been getting, how
Kim Kardashian inspired her and what her father's reaction has been.
"I did talk to my father. He told me he was embarrassed by me," Montana, who goes by the porn alias Chippy D, says of her 'CSI' and 'Matrix' star father. "Until he respects me and accepts me for who I am, I don't think we will have much of a relationship."
What about her mother, who has been divorced from Fishburne since Montana was two years old? "My mom just says, 'I love you.' We don't talk about it every day. She wants me to be happy and doesn't want me to get dragged into the dark side of porn." That dark side, Montana says, includes drugs and destructive behavior from "low self-esteem."
How the porn film happened: "After I turned 18, I started to seriously think about the best way for me to enter [the business]. I was impressed with Kim Kardashian's success after her tape was released by Vivid and decided to call the company to see if I could arrange a meeting. I met with [founder and co-chairman] Steven Hirsch and convinced him that I knew what I wanted, and we planned my movie debut."
Did she really earn something in the neighborhood of $250,000? "I can't really talk about it, but I made some money. It's keeping me in the place I live."
She's not in a rush to return to porn: "I'm actually getting a lot of mainstream offers. They are acting roles. I'm open to scripted and reality. It just all depends on what the project it is. If something truly interests me, I'll get super involved and want to make it happen. That's why I did this movie. I want to pursue those opportunities and then come back to [porn]."
Continuing with the Kim Kardashian plan: "Even though she got all that negative attention for [her sex tape], she still has all these other ventures going on now. That is what I want to emulate: having a tape come out and still being seen as a positive person. Not just, 'She's a porn star.'"
On her upbringing: "It was traditionally unconventional. I've had divorced parents since I was 2, and my dad was a really famous actor, so it was as conventional as it could be. We had the best of the best: private schools, traveling all over the world. I've had a happy life."

Yes I have to agree with you mem. She does has some loose screws. How could you do this to your dad? I guess the mom really doesn't care, she really didn't have any say on the subject. But Laurence will be okay. He's just disowned his daughter, and I don't blame him at all for I would have done the same thing.

If you loved your daughter what difference would it make? I would not be happy about her choice to make porn(I have 2 daughters under 14)but I would not disown them. Once they hit 18 they are adults and able to do what they want. Love for your children is unconditional, you can hate what they do but not them.
A 19 year old who wants to emulate Kim Kardashian...sad. The only reason Kardsahian is famous is because of the sex tape. Her mother parlayed that into a so called career for Kim. In other words, Kris is Kim's pimp, plain and simple. One can only hope that Lawrence's daughter will wake up and realize self respect. I too would disown her if she was my daughter. She needs to grow up and get some self worth.

I think that this is a good example of how Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and such non talented people are ruining our society. How do our children have a chance when Lawerence Fishburnes own daughter is inspired by Kim Kardashian. Here this actor gave his daughter everything, "the best of the best" and yet she still felt as if people like Kim Kardashian are inspirational and maybe they are.
