Who Wore It Best? Victoria Beckham vs. Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester is trying to steal the queen bee status from style icon Victoria Beckham.

In full Gossip Girl fashion, Meester mimicked the former Spice Girl by wearing a replica drape-neck sheath dress.

Our pals at StyleList are quick to point out that Victoria was the first to wear the dress of her own design at the Range Rover 40th anniversary party in London on July 1st.

The fashion mogul paired her cream colored number with simple diamond studs, super smokey eyes, and nude platform pumps that made her legs look miles long.

The slimming sheath was worn by Meester as she dressed up as Blair Waldorf for a scene on Gossip Girl's fourth season at the famed Standard Hotel in New York City.

In contrast to Beckham's smokey eyes and polished updo, the GG starlet opted for a more subtle approach, with minimal makeup and loose waves.

They look too different to really judge who wore it best. Leighton wears the dress across her chest, with a lower neckline. The upper part of the skirt looks different on both girls as well.

I like Leighton's style better. But the dress is so different on each of them, it's hard to judge.

Leighton rocks the 'look'. Posh Kosh B'Gosh looks like a 12 yo playing dress-up with mommy's clothes. She always goes for the skintight silouhette. She should know by now that with that tomboy build she'd look better in clothes with a looser, more relaxed fit.

The dress looks better in grey then gold, Leighton is also wearing the dress differently the top part of the dress looks better on Leighton then the way Victoria is wearing the dress. Sometimes the same item is styled nicer because the person way of putting it on is fixed nicer, everyone has their own style and this is a perfect example of wearing something good vs. excellent.

Who cares who wore it better, it's gorgeous - it would be nice if the editors could name the designer and the season, it looks perfect on both of them! Please give more info on the actual who wore it better - with out the info it's kind of useless.

Am I the only one who has noticed Victoria as ALWAYS appearing on camera as if she....
1. Is very constipated, would benefit from a Fleet's Enema.
2. Might have bad teeth, I've never, ever seen her smile.
3. Always looks mean and crabby.

One of the other Spice Girls said in an interview that VB thinks she's ugly when she smiles, so she never does on camera.

I have no idea who this Leighton is, but Posh always looks like she's about to tell everyone to go "F" themselves. Posh should be sporting a pointy tail,a set of horns and perhaps a pitchfork; not this dress. She has the curves of a young Michael Jackson: I don't think this dress works for her at all.

The dress looked good on both, but Beckhams hair destroyed the way the dress looked. Leighton looked much dressier and nicer.
