Kanye West: In Therapy on Twitter?

Every rapper has a lot to say, but as usual,
Kanye West wants to outdo them all. Since yesterday, in the span of a couple hours, the Grammy winner led his
Twitter followers down a winding road of musings -- and regrets -- posting dozens of tweets, many just minutes apart. Front and center in his thoughts: the anniversary of the night he highjacked
Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 VMA's.
West not only apologized with an "I'm sorry Taylor" tweet, he empathized: "She had nothing to do with my issues with award shows. She had no idea what hit her. She's justa lil girl with dreams like the rest of us." He pointed fingers: "We're both artist(s) and the media and managers are trying to get between us. Everyone wants to capitalize off this is some way." He longed for closure: "I want to win...hearts back so I can continue to bring my take on culture to the masses."
He even made a peace offering: "I wrote a song for Taylor Swift that's so beautiful and I want her to have it. If she won't take it then I'll perform it for her."
And he opened his heart about a whole lot more.
"There are people who don't dislike me... they absolutely hate me!" tweeted West, who seemed particularly wounded by media coverage of his behavior: "Man I love Twitter... I've always been at the mercy of the press but no more...The media tried to demonize me....They wanted yall to believe I was a monster in real life so you guys wouldn't listen or buy my music anymore....I feel like they were waiting for the opportunity to go in all the way on me and when it came they beat me to a pulp," adding, "Even now a lot of articles start...about how much of an asshole I am."
His running theme was self-awareness ("It is distasteful to cut people off as a general rule....What's the point of dressing tastefully if I'm going to act the complete opposite?") and retribution ("I've hurt, I've bled, I've learned. I only want to do good. I am passionate I am human I am real....I wish I could talk to every hater face to face and change there a opinion of me one conversation at a time"). More tweets:
All eyes will be on the rapper when he performs at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, Sept. 12. And all his Twitter followers will be wondering if he's finally gotten everything out of his system.

Nobody is perfect...its what makes us human. Everyone is quick to point the finger and say he's so wrong for this and so wrong for that...people...human beings are so quick to always criticize, mock and destroy things that they don't understand and won't give way or opportunity to try and understand.
I will say that Kanye is definitely still hurting to have lost your mother is a feeling of hopeless ness some never get over for the rest of their lives and then having your fiance break it off @ the same time of your loss is a double wammy...so yes...therapy is something he definitely needs to get...for all we know he could be recieving some sort of therapy.
Was he wrong for ambushing the stage on Taylor...YES!!! But was he wrong for expressing an opinion he had about her NO!!! I just think he chose the wrong time and platform to do it...Hell who says just because you're in the limelight you have some sort of rules or "Celebrity Bible" set of rules you have to abide by.
I personally don't like Taylor Swift she's too fake for me and I'm sick of all the songs she writing about her ex's and they could of came at her for outing them like she did a few times on tv...but oh...that's not wrong for her to do.

The ONLY other time something similar happened was at the 1975 Academy Awards. David Niven was about to present an award to whomever, and a streaker ran out of the backstage to the front and shocked everybody. And, the whole thing was on live national TV.
if he has so much to say then put him in a closed room and he can talk to himself

to leonardo: thats part of the problem, he does NOT give all blacks a bad name...your the one that gives us a bad name. my point is this, i am not responsible for another black person, i am only resposible for my actions.. if matthew macaugnehay, tom hanks or robin williams screwed up the entire white race would not be held responsible for their actions..its absurd to think hes giving us all a bad name..for you to make that asessment of kanye then says you hold all black ppl responsible for his horrid actions...

Well said Jordan. Don't know if it matters, but I was born white. We don't choose our color. However, we're all human beings. So for someone to hate a particular race????>>>> If there only claim to fame is their white, or black. Just shows ignorance.
I just think this guy needs to move on. When you make a mistake and do something stupid you do 3 things: First, admit the error; second, make it right (in most instances a simple yet sincere apology is adequate); third, take whatever steps are needed to make sure the same mistake does not happen again. No fan of this West character, but it seems to me he has covered all 3 bases and needs to move on.

first of all rap music is not music, i sure cant dance to it. you have to be on dope to listen to it. it sure is not relaxing. An most of it is dirty. So i would doubt that this type of music would be missed. Am above all i doubt that this world would miss kanye west.
