With Kids at Home Now, Birthday Girl LeAnn Rimes Craves 'Peace and Quiet'

What country star LeAnn Rimes reportedly wanted for her 28th birthday (Aug. 28) was a restful spell of "peace and quiet," according to People.com. And who wouldn't make that wish after such a tumultuous year? This summer alone, the singer finalized her divorce from Dean Sheremet, and soon welcomed live-in boyfriend Eddie Cibrian's two sons, age 3 and 7, into her Calabasas, Calif., home.

(Following a contentious split, after Cibrian fell for Rimes while still married, the actor now shares custody of the two boys with his ex, model Brandi Glanville.)

Rimes and her paramour recently kicked back poolside during a (reportedly child-free) Mexican getaway to Cabo San Lucas with friends in honor of her big day. And this wekeend, she revealed that Cibrian, 37, presented her with a special birthday gift: jewelry.

Gold bangles, to be exact. "It was very sweet," she said.

Visiting Las Vegas on Saturday, the couple was attending a birthday celebration for Rimes at hotspot Tabu. But the recording artist didn't sound entirely homesick for domestic life. "It's quite chaotic....I went from being by myself to having two kids in the house." She added, "It's really amazing. They're really incredible."

Meanwhile, the onetime teen sensation (whose powerful voice propelled her to fame at age 14) seemed very excited to add another candle to her birthday cake. "I'm actually one of those strange people that actually enjoys getting older," she told People.com. "My age was made such a big deal out of when I was little, so I always wanted to get older."

I hope this kids drive her nuts. That's what LeAnn gets when she screws with a married man. They are both disgusting. I am glad they fired him from CSI Miami and I will no longer be buying her records. AOL, we don't want to hear about TRASH.

I hope Eddie reads this; and runs away from this woman. It sounds like she is resentful of the children; Eddie is a package deal: Eddie Plus two children.
I think Lee Ann sounds selfish; she should be with a man who doesn't have children..

I was wondering if this affair and breaking up two marriages had anything to do with Eddie losing his job on CSI Miami. Just wondering. And LeAnn should have thought of the noise before she slept with a married man, destroying her marriage and his both.

I know i will take flack for this, but whatever. Leann has no clue what its like to RAISE kids, they don't live with her! The way i see it. Any woman out there with a Spouse who is screwing around, and after having a few kids, he wants to leave you for his play toy. No problem, make sure that for at least his 1st month out, HE takes the kids with him!! If his play toy has no kids, she will kick him to the curb quickly! If Leann were broke, she'd be losing her mind with a 3 & 7 yr old. But, let me be clear, I'm NOT talking about abusive relationships. Clearly you don't want your kids in harms way. I feel that in many cases it would work.
