Judge Fines Snooki, Then Calls Her a 'Lohan Wannabe'

A New Jersey judge verbally slapped Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi around in court on Wednesday, calling the 'Jersey Shore' star a "Lindsay Lohan wannabe" after she pleaded guilty to disturbing beach-goers with her sloppy antics during an afternoon of drinking in July.

Snooki was ordered to pay $500 and perform two days of community service, but not before Municipal Court Judge Damian Murray called her actions "rude and self-indulgent" and said that if she was getting sloppy for MTV cameras (which were on the scene), then she needed to decide if it's "worth trading your dignity for a paycheck."

Snooki was arrested on July 30 after other beachgoers complained to police that she was bothering them. After she was taken into custody, she was released on a summons.

The diminutive MTV star said her much-ballyhooed July 30 arrest for disorderly conduct was a wake-up call of sorts, especially after she realized how much she had embarrassed her proud family.

"My dad was very, very pissed," she told a gaggle of reporters in L.A. at an MTV press event on Friday. "He's like, 'I didn't raise you like this.' I just felt really bad, so I'm definitely going to stop drinking during the daytime. And now when I go out, I only have a couple drinks."

She told reporters that she'd been drinking tequila since noon that day and by the time of her arrest -- 3:30 -- she was thoroughly snockered. After that, the memories of the episode are hazy. "[I remember when] I woke up in the drunk tank, I was like, 'Alright, I must have drank way too many cocktails.'"

Can someone please tell me the lesson or signifiance of Jersey Shore and Bad Girls Club. Please tell me they are suppose to teach our youths how to act. The TV stations are really desperate for shows. So tired of these reality shows.

Just saw Snooki in court on TV. The heffa is not sorry. She is making money..........popularity has increased. Its sad really. I once saw her on Wendy Williams show. Snooki thought she was MS It. She in no way apologized for her behavior but flaunted it. And they need to take Situation off the cast. He thinks his 6-pack stomach is the joint and women will desire him. Funny you ever noticed he has no one on TV and real life.

how sad for us all to be watching this explosion on National TV.
With examples like snooki, Sarah, Paris, Lindsey and Bristol, its a very sad time for Americans to watch all morality disappear.
