Are you ready for Willow Smith? The 9-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith released her first single, 'Whip My Hair,' with Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, readying her place as the heir to her father's musical throne.
Willow has become a red-carpet staple in recent months, turning heads with her out-there fashion choices. She delivers that same swagger in her song, rapping that she's not doing anything wrong, just trying to have fun and will "keep fighting until I get there."
So, is it too early for Willow to start a music career? She's certainly a little younger than her dad was when he burst onto the scene as the Fresh Prince, but plenty of kiddie acts have made it to the big time -- just look at the entire cast of 'The Mickey Mouse Club.' Check out some of our favorite kids who've gone on to bigger and better things after the jump.
Everyone focuses on Britney, Justin and Christina when they talk about the '90s reincarnation of Disney's 'Mickey Mouse Club,' but what about the stars that flew under the radar? First up, a young Ryan Gosling crooning alongside soon-to-be *NSYNC members Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez.
You may know her best as 'Felicity,' but Keri Russell busted a few moves at the House of Mouse back in the day too. Check out her serious rap solo that starts around 1:00.
You haven't lived until you've sat through a song by the Olsen Twins. That's if you make it out alive.
Few remember that around the time she was on 'The Cosby Show,' Raven Symone released an awesomely '90s rap album and video, entitled 'That's What Little Girls Are Made Of.' It's very ... baby Queen Latifah.
Before joining the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie was just a girl. Singing to a clown. It's creepier than it sounds.
Is there anything Mario Lopezcan't do? Watch the dimpled youngster rap while simultaneously playing drums in this clip from 'Kids Incorporated' below.
Last, but certainly not least: Jennifer Love Hewitt. Before she was on 'Party of Five' or dealing with the supernatural on 'Ghost Whisperer,' Hewitt performed as a prima ballerina on 'Kids Incorporated' and later lent her singing and dancing skills to a Barbie workout video that's completely out of this world. Or at least this century. Watch Hewitt (billed as 'Love') strut her stuff around 3:35.

Oh please. Even the most proper singers have uttered slang language in their music. Try singing the correct way in the same format and you will notice it ends up creating an awkward rhythm.
The song is not that bad. I wish her all the best.
I agree with you. I'm not trying to sound racist, but that's a big problem with black children. They hear their parents talking in slang, so they copy them and never really learn proper grammar. I don't understand why they want to try and sound "thug" or "ghetto" when that's not the environment they are raised in. She has a good singing voice, but that song is absolutely ridiculous and she sounds ridiculous singing slang like that. I hope if she decides to have a music career she doesn't ruin it by sounding stupid.
I don't want to misrepresent what you are saying...? What do you mean "obama-types". Wow... because if you mean what I think you mean... maybe you need to watch what you say... especially in this day and age... Well... an obama-type wouldn't be that bad... Harvard... President... intellectual... hmmm... Now, if that is not what you meant... please let me know... Because I don't want people to get the wrong impression of you... You did know why she shaved her head correct?
Umm, black people aren't the only ones that use slang. If she were to talk perfectly, you would notice a huge difference in the rhythm of the song. Some artists even sacrifice the meaning to a song just to make it rhyme. When do you ever hear a song, in this music genre, with perfect english? She speaks fluent Japanese and Chinese, and I'm pretty sure she's more educated than you.
It was the child's idea to shave her head not the parents. Her mother said lets try a small part of the hair first, father was caught a little off guard, they say, hair grows back. Will Smith should know, he started trends with his hair cuts as a teen. These kids are highly intelligent and for you idiots out there, they speak better english than you do and the third child plays football and is intelligent and well spoken as well. The words used in songs are sometime deliberately not correct english you just realize it now because you want to make it a racial issue, idiots. Everyone who really knows these parents say that they are great parents.
What a silly mommy! Katie Holmes takes Suri into the water in her clothes as the two spend the afternoon at the beach in Miami. More of Today's Hottest Photos

Feel sorry for all the kids that work hard, study their craft and don't get the same breaks as the celebrity kids.

Robwhatever..she sings better than you write..um!
There's no doubt the kid has a voice...would love to hear her in a different form of music. The song is very annoying.

Adorable child and so is her brother. Jada and Will have two talented and well behaved children. Good Job!

They are so annoying, and I really question their decision to make a (at the time) 9 year old shave off the sides of her hair
you got to be kidding,,,,,lol
@Jenelle
They did not make her shave her head. She decided to do it to be like her grandmother that has cancer and has lost her hair.
