Angelina Jolie: Brad Pitt Is My Only Friend

She may be rich, famous and beautiful but Angelina Jolie is lacking one major thing in life--friends. In a satellite interview with CNN's Sanjay Gupta on Wednesday, Jolie revealed that when it comes to people she talks to, she really just chats with her partner, Brad Pitt, UsMagazine.com reports.

When Gupta asked how Jolie coped when she was traveling for her duties as UN's Goodwill Ambassador, the actress said she mostly relied on Pitt.

"I'll talk to my family. I talk to Brad; he wants to know as much as he can about these issues and every trip. He's been here as well; he came with me after the earthquake. But I don't know, I don't have a lot of friends I talk to. He is really the only person I talk to," the 'Salt' actress said.

Jolie is currently in Pakistan to visit with victims of a recent flood. And while she said she misses her children and family when she goes on her UN trips, her kids understand why she has to go.

"I tell my children why I'm going and I explain to them why I was packing flashlights and food. They help me pack some things," she told Gupta. "My children are from a lot of these countries, so I want them to understand what's happening in Africa, the boys to understand what's happening if there's something current in their countries, and for all of them to know about each other's countries as well."

True. I keep looking. Where in the article do they refer to Brad as her husband? I just see the word "partner" which is not the same thing.

Jen has not been crying over Brad and if you pay attention to her dating habits she's well on her way of being over him. There are alot of people who are on Team Angie and Team Jen that are keeping this going when the actual players in this drama have moved on.

ok she didnt actually say she doesnt have any friends. she said she doesnt have any friends she talks to about it..meaning her traveling, etc. these headlines are always so misleading. yet i fall for it, so whatever.

No woman would ever want to be friends with her because she'd probably try to get their husbands in bed, plus she is psycho so that is probably why.

For her and Brad it would be hard to have friends. In their position who can they really trust except family and it seems Brad's family tried to make him look bad by talking to his ex with her feeling sorry for herself all over the news to this day. Jennifer is such a loser. But back to the issue.. it would be nice to have friends but they are constantly on the move doing things, doing goodwill for people. My hat off to them. They are truly 'good' people.

I'm sure she doesn't even PACK, let alone flashlights. Packing is for the "little people".

It should be no tougher for her than it is for any other celeb to make friends. They all have people that leak info to the press. You have to BE a friend to HAVE friends. Brad USED to have friends. Until she forbid it.

Wow. One of the very best things about being a woman is having other women as your best friends. Only they truly have your back at all times. When husbands leave or boyfriends break your heart, at least you've got girlfriends who have always been there for you. How sad that, despite all her money and fame, she lacks what's really important in life. This is dedicated to my own best friend, Joanne. Thirty years, two husbands, and countless boyfriends later, we're still BFF's. Love ya!
