Britney Spears Slams Bodyguard Harassment Claims

Britney Spears categorically denied a former bodyguard's accusations that she'd sexually harassed him and abused her children, the Associated Press reports. Fernando Flores, who worked as a bodyguard for Spears for a couple months in 2010, filed a lawsuit against the pop star on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Spears posted a statement on her website in response to the allegations. In the statement, she says she and her lawyer fully expect the lawsuit to be dismissed.

"This lawsuit is another unfortunate situation where someone is trying to take advantage of the Spears family and make a name for himself," the statement said.

"The Department of Children and Family Services conducted a proper investigation surrounding Mr. Flores' accusations and have closed the case without further action," the statement concluded.

Flores claims Britney made "repeated unwanted sexual advances" toward him.

In the lawsuit, an alleged incident between the two is described. "[Britney] was wearing a white lace, see-through dress. She walked over close by [Flores], intentionally dropped her cigarette lighter on the floor, bent over to retrieve it and thereby exposed her uncovered genitals to [Flores]."

Flores also asserts that Spears beat her children in front of him, using his belt to "savagely hit the small child [Preston]" on one occasion.

Flores is seeking unspecified damages.

This jerk bodyguard should be counter-sued for trying to defame Britney and extort money. He really should be thrown in jail for clogging our court system with a dumb lawsuit like this. Britney bent over and his life is ruined? C'mon, and this guy is supposed to be a bodyguard? I guess he was a big fail if he is this desperate.

I believe Flores 100%!!!! Britney is not going to admit to the allegations. Artist's think they can do and get what ever they want. It's about time normal people speak-up about unwanted behavior from Artist's. Linsey Lohan, Naomi Campbell, Mel Gibson, and many others. I'm glad he's speaking up.

How foolish this bodyguard is. Britney is not that hard up to pull that sort of thing. He s looking for easy money. there would have to be bruises on the child to prove this is child abuse. Just because Britney had a breakdown does not mean she has not recovered and is a good mother now. I think Kevin wasthe culprit in her reakdown and she should have full custody of her children if she does has not have it. She is looking good.

When Brittany was abusing her children, why didnt the body guard call the police or child services. I wonder why he decided to sue her the month after he was fired. She has worked hard to get her life back on track. I do not believe his alegations at all. She will win this lawsuit. If she was parading in front of him in a sexual manner, I dont understand why any man wouldnt like that. If he did not like it, he should have quit and not wait to be fired.
