T.I.'s Arrest Too Funky for AXE Body Spray?

Unfortunately for T.I., getting popped for possession of ecstasy isn't as easy as dealing with the average case of B.O.

TMZ reports the partnership between AXE, the body spray company, and the rapper might be on the rocks in light of T.I.'s arrest for possession of ecstasy last week.

"We are troubled by the arrest," an AXE rep stated. "In order to preserve the legal process, AXE will comment at a later time, as appropriate. In the meantime, we are reviewing our promotional activities."

Last year, the troubled rapper signed a promotional partnership deal which would feature Mary J. Blige in a series of mystery concerts, as well as promotional online video campaigns.

According to reports, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office is still investigating the case, and the U.S. Attorney's office still hasn't decided what to do about T.I.'s probation violation.

The rapper was released from jail earlier this year after a seven-month stint on federal weapons charges and made his big return to the music world last month when he performed live at the 2010 BET awards.

I don't understand why the U.S. Attorney's office doesn't know what to do about his probation. It is real simple, treat him just like the average person and put him back in jail!!! It should not be a matter of who he is but, what he has done, thats what the law is in place for. Just because he is a so called "famous person" does not change the law. It's time to start enforcing the law on all who break the law not make exceptions for the famous or notorious.

I like T.I, but sometimes you have to grow up and know you are now being watched by everyone. Including the authorities. If I just got out of prison I'm not smoking or drinking in public, or hanging around anyone outside of my home. That was just plain old arrogance. Imagine the stress on him now.

I expect the same justice that pathetic white trash Paris hilton, Britney spears, lindsy lohan, Robert downy Jr, and Mel gibson get. Did you expect anything different?
