Justin Bieber Nails Police Trooper With Water Balloon

Boys will be boys. Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber almost got into a lot of trouble Thursday when he nailed a state trooper with a water balloon, soaking him from the belt down. The officer was ready to cuff the 'Baby' singer, but thankfully his bodyguard managed to talk him out of it, E! News reports. "Still laughing. GREAT DAY," Bieber tweeted after the show.

The officer was on duty for crowd control at Bieber's sold-out performance at the Maryland State Fair on Sunday.

A state police spokesman described Bieber's behavior Sunday as "inappropriate" but confirmed that no incident report was written and no further action will be taken.

The singer's squeaky-clean track record will remain that way for now. This weekend, Bieber will perform at the MTV Video Music Awards, where he's nominated for Best New Artist.

If I would have done that I would have been arrested and probably beat up by the cops. People get thrown out of concerts for less than this. And the sad thing is he didn't get any kind of punishment. The police were there to protect him and he should be grateful. He should make a public appology.

My kids witnessed that whole incident. They got lost at the show and a security guard took them backstage to a secure area and saw Justin get out of the trailer and throw the water balloons. My daughter told me about it as soon as the police brought the kids back to me. That crowd was crazy and the police needed to be focusing on the crowd and not dealing with stupid water balloon fights.

Wow, either your daughter is a liar or you are a nut job who likes to act like you know things. The incident happened prior to the concert. They hadn't even got out to the stage yet, and there wasn't any insane crowd out in the backstage area, there never is, that's why it's backstage. Your story doesn't add up.

I don't see the big deal, personally. As the article says, "Boys will be boys." We were all 16 and foolish once. With that said, I don't think he should've hit a police officer, especially if he was only helping control the crowd.

Seems to me that Justine Bieber needs the snot smacked out of him. Bet that trooper could have done it too. The bodyguard should have been arrested for interfering with an officer.

I'm thinking he isn't going to get much higher. He will have a downfall someday, he won't always be able to sing to little girls. This is probably the high of his life, and he will have the rest of it to reflect on his short lived career.

The law enforcement officer could let him off, but his parents should ground him for a month--cancel concerts, remove all electronics from his room and have him hand write something like "I will respect all people, especially law enforcement, fire fighters, military personnel, educators, emergency/hospital personnel, and my elders. I will treat others as I would want to be treated." 200 times every day of that month. Each sheet should be signed by him and sold with all money going to purchase police dogs, vests and other proctective equipment for law enforcement. Wonder what his first tweet would be when he gets his phone back?

Say it aint so JB. Usually I stand behind him 100% but this is not cool. Maybe he should've gotten cuffed and charged just to keep him grounded and not think he can get away with stuff just cuz he's famous like so many others. I wonder how that cop would've treated someone else not famous if they did that to him and maybe he should've treated JB the same way
