She May Have Quit, But You'll See Bethenny on 'Housewives' This Year

Bethenny Frankel announced late last month that she'd quit 'Real Housewives of New York City' after a "scary and painful" third season of the show. Bethenny and new hubby Jason Hoppy welcomed daughter Bryn in May, and she just doesn't think the show is a good fit anymore, but -- hold up! -- sources tell me she will most certainly be back.

"Bethenny's contract with 'Housewives' is for another year," a network executive tells me. "Even though she has a contract for her own spin-off reality show, she needs to honor the contact she originally signed."

The problem is, Bethenny now thinks she's too big a star to be part of an ensemble cast, but in reality it's that show that made her famous in the first place, and if Bravo wants her back again next season, she will be back.

Also, ignore rumors emitting from New Jersey housewife Danielle Staub that she's in talks with several networks about getting her own show. As Naughty But Nice told you first, Danielle was fired from 'Housewives' and her contract clearly states that she cannot work for another network for several more years without Bravo's written permission.

"These ladies think they are superstars now and that something like a contract doesn't matter," an insider tells me. "Well, think again. Bravo isn't in the business of creating stars and then letting them go to other networks. That just isn't going to happen."

Bethenny reminds me of a typical New Yorker who is ALWAYS ranting and raving about the smallest THING EVER. She goes on and on and on like Danielle Staub's from the New Jersey Housewives, no one really likes them both but endure. Bethenny is a chipmunk look-alike! Poor Jason and most definitely, poor Bryn!

I agree with Mike. Her humor was disgusting, her behavior an insult to women everywhere. I was very disappointed in the VMA and their choice of host. This was not a show for teens to watch due to her.

Again, why in hell do you watch this crap at all? Do you realize you are criticizing a monster that you created? By supporting these shows you are telling them that they are bigger than life and their life is so superior that you need to watch it. Is there no wonder that they emerge with enormous egos? I have never seen so many, with no talent, have such demands on people.
Just remember that you developed this ego and fully support it by watching in the first place.

Rob Shuter, this is old news. It was reported in US Weekly two weeks ago that Bethenny was contractually obligated to make appearances on season 4 of RHONYC. It was the same article that she announced that she quit RHONYC. She will ONLY make cameo appearances. She won't be a regular member of the cast any longer. You are a TERRIBLE reporter/columnist. You are always a day late and a dollar short. Go back to being a Publicist for Paris Hilton.
