Bristol Palin's Secret 'Dancing' Weapon? Kate Gosselin

Bristol Palin might not be the best dancer in the world, but she thinks she has discovered a secret weapon that will help her win: Kate Gosselin.

"Kate became close with the Palin family when she taped an episode of her TLC reality show with Sarah Palin," a source tells me. "Since then, Bristol and Kate have become e-mail pals and Kate is happy to give her lots of dancing advice. Kate wishes she had had a mentor to help her through the tough contest and is happy to help Bristol."

And while some might question the wisdom of getting dancing tips from ballroom disaster Kate Gosselin, sources tell me if anyone knows how to stay in that competition much longer than talent would dictate, it's Kate.

"Kate has told Bristol to sell the performance even if your feet are a mess," a family friend tells me. "Remember to smile and don't be afraid to beg people to vote. It's not always the worst dancer that goes home. After all, it's really a popularity contest rather than a dancing competition."

And if all else fails, Kate has advised Bristol to use her famous mom. That's one lady who knows how to mobilize a base and get votes.

Got that right! Kate couldn't dance her way out of a paper bag! She was one of the WORST E-V-E-R on that show. How in the world is SHE going to help Bristol Palin? And Bristol broke up with Levi Johnson because HE craved the spotlight too much??? Hello!!!

It's not bad enough that Bristol Palin can't dance, and says she won't wear anything sexy, but this is really too much. If the best she can do is to get her dancing advice from Kate Gosselin, she's really doomed. Kate Gosselin couldn't even put one foot in front of the other without tripping over herself. Plus she had a "bad attitude problem"! Sorry Bristol, bad choice!!

Gosselin advises the USE of Palin's Mommy Dearest to get ahead; just like she uses her kids and everyone else. Little Palin already knows the ropes, Gosselin! She has the master of deception behind her. These two will make a fine pair of buddies until one realises the other's usefulness has dried up.

Can someone please tell me how or why Bristol Palin or Kate Gosselin for that matter are considered to be "stars". Is Kate the "star" of multiple births and Bristol the "star" of teenage pregnancy??and that is their claim to fame !I want to see celebrities on Dancing with the stars not those money hungry wannabees.....

Bristol might as well go get a puppet on a string to ask for advice. Be alot better than asking kate for advice, unless you want to know how to whine, be a diva, and ignore your kid.

I do not think Bristol Palin is capable for doing things on her own, except getting and being a pregnant teenager and now a mother. She is immature and trying to act grown up. With Sarah Palin as a mom who wants constant media attention, Bristol is picking up some bad habits and if she listens to Kate Gosslein she will be in for more problems. I think DWTS letting Bristol on that show was a mistake. She should stay in Alaska, mature a lot and tend to her son.

Bristol is nothing but an unwed Mother. Why she is on Dancing With the Stars is Beyond Me. Why aren't other unwed mothers invited on the show. I guess your name has to be Palin. Bristol is rich by her Mother so why are you giving her a career so easily???? There are other young woman more talented and deserves to get a chance in TV and you waste your time giving it to Bristol.

What next? Is Kate going to give Bristol advice on how to cash in on her kid? I wouldn't take any advise from Kate. DWTS is really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Don't know how they determined that Kate was a star. All she did was have more kids than she could afford and found a way to scam someone else into financially supporting them. And since when does being a teenage mom make someone a star?

I doubt this. They are not going to show the Alaska footage for Kate+8 because she threw a tantrum and refused to stay at the campsite. So she got a 5 star hotel instead. Sarah was not happy with her.
