Bristol Palin's Secret 'Dancing' Weapon? Kate Gosselin

Bristol Palin might not be the best dancer in the world, but she thinks she has discovered a secret weapon that will help her win: Kate Gosselin.

"Kate became close with the Palin family when she taped an episode of her TLC reality show with Sarah Palin," a source tells me. "Since then, Bristol and Kate have become e-mail pals and Kate is happy to give her lots of dancing advice. Kate wishes she had had a mentor to help her through the tough contest and is happy to help Bristol."

And while some might question the wisdom of getting dancing tips from ballroom disaster Kate Gosselin, sources tell me if anyone knows how to stay in that competition much longer than talent would dictate, it's Kate.

"Kate has told Bristol to sell the performance even if your feet are a mess," a family friend tells me. "Remember to smile and don't be afraid to beg people to vote. It's not always the worst dancer that goes home. After all, it's really a popularity contest rather than a dancing competition."

And if all else fails, Kate has advised Bristol to use her famous mom. That's one lady who knows how to mobilize a base and get votes.

I agree with alot of you. Bristol LEAVE Kate out of all of this. Do your best and WEAR WHAT YOU WANT TO WEAR. Be yourself and hopefully you will do great. You unfortunately are already following in Kate's footsteps by barring Levi from the set. WHY would you do that. Don't listen to her.

No, she wouldn't wear anything sexy but what does she think those bikini bathing suits are? Sexy, but not on her. She does not have a bikini body. She should cover up a bit more instead of letting everything hanging out -literally. Those little kids are growing up and you think they don't notice?

Gosselin is the LAST person to take dancing advice from. She danced like she had a poker inserted into her.

Well ... I guess if Bristol wants to learn how to dance like she has a stick up her butt, then she SHOULD look to Kate for advice!! There's no better teacher!

I think I must be missing something here. The title of this show is " Dancing with the Stars" isnt it? Where are the Stars, you know, someone who maybe has a star on the Walk of Fame, or maybe someone who has an Oscar or something. Maybe the show should be called something more appropriate like " Dancing with the Tools " or " Dancing with the Rejects " seems more fitting with the cast.

Who was Bristol Palin? A daughter riding Momma shirttales after having a baby while still a teenager and another one who has so many kids that she has Nanny's that she thinks she famous for. These people do not need to be promoted in front of TV this is why Our country is the way it is. Time to get back to Family Mommy & Daddy's/

Scraping the bottom of the barrel with this promiscuous single mother of a conservative family value family. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I guess you can quit anything if you can make more money and write and say anything you want even though it may not be true or to show your ignorance. Next season kwame kilpatrick will be available to receive lap dances from any one of the teen age strippers, but don't tell his wife cause she will have her done away with. We may also arrange big goofy, carlita, or cheeks-kilpat for variety. Moncon will be unavailable for about 37 months unless there is a West Virginia location. They will require big money or have the taxpayers foot the bill. How about teaming her with Levi--that I would watch!!! Well, enough for now, you can't get any lower!!!

I wonder how old those of u out there are. Please leave Bristol palin alone. She can't help who her mother is. As far as having a baby out of wedlock, how many of you are that narrow minded? Do you judge all the people in the entertainment field who do the same thing ? Britol is still so young. So she got pregnant and is not married. How many of you had sex before marriage? You could have been in the same situation. Think about it.
