Josh Brolin: I've Never Cheated on Diane Lane

Josh Brolin wants to make one thing very clear: he's never cheated on his wife, Diane Lane. "I don't f*** around on my wife," the 'Jonah Hex' actor tells Playboy in their upcoming October issue (via UsMagazine.com). "I mean, check her out, man. My relationship with my wife is fantastic."

Brolin was photographed kissing 'Grindhouse' co-star Marley Shelton earlier this year though both celebrities denied any wrongdoing at the time.

"Marley is my wife's and my great friend," the actor said of the infamous photo. "I'm an extremely affectionate guy...Marley and I were out together, turned around and saw there were cameras. That's it."

On his spousal battery arrest four months after his wedding to Lane:
"I feel rage about that. I feel I've gotten to a point where I can't explain it, defend it or compensate for it. I can't say, 'No, I'm actually a really good guy and that didn't happen.' Everybody knows what happened because it's all out there.

"I talked big, she said 'F*** you' and called the cops, and somebody had to go to jail. This will be there for the rest of my life. That f***ing sucks. It's been so disruptive to our lives. It's also post-O.J., and that horrifies us both. It kills me, man. It kills me."

On his father, James Brolin, marrying Barbra Streisand:
"The fact that he got together with her and found this solace is such a coup and so wonderful. The guy was so frigging unhappy and lonely. She's always like, 'Come over. We'll have cake or cocktails or soup or ice cream.' I love her and I love what they've created together. I say thank God for her."

On his 'Jonah Hex' co-star, Megan Fox:
"What Megan has done is confuse everybody thoroughly. To me, she's doing something more interesting than what a lot of other young people in movies are doing."

We've all (or most of us) have had heated arguments with a spouse or significant other. When you are in Hollywood and it's showcased - that would make it more difficult. Who wants their dirty laundry published for all to see? NO one. Although that's a price you have to pay if you are in the show biz. I'm sure Josh gets tired of being known or recognized for one unfortunate incident. If they've learned from it - more power to them. I am glad that he speeks well of Barbra Streisand. I get sick and tired of her being bashed all the time.

Monica, I don't believe most of us have been in a relationship where one of us has been arrested for spousal battery. There wasn't an arrest because .."somebody HAD to go to jail." That doesn't sound reasonable, does it? The part about Brolin saying, "I still feel rage about it." and the rest of what he was quoted saying about his spousal battery arrest and the fact, basically, that everyone wouldn't just shut up about it. He does sound like a person who is mad that people heard about what he did, rather than a person who takes responsibility, and does whatever they can to make sure they are NEVER going to lash out in anger (rage, even) again.
