Whenever a new season of 'Oprah' debuts, it's a pretty big deal. And it's safe to say the 25th and final season opener is the biggest deal of all. What started as a rival to the Geraldos and Donahues of the world has stood the test of time, morphing into a veritable empire for its hostess. Oprah Winfrey herself has become television's own golden calf, influencing everything from diet and spiritual fads to reading choices and even political candidates. And Oprah more than returns the favor to her enamored followers, giving away lavish gifts like cars and, most recently, a trip to Australia (which will reportedly cost the country $3M). The most important thing, of course, is that it all makes for great TV, especially the audience members' reactions. All those fevered screams? Grown women stupefied while melting in their seats? Faces of the Last Season of Oprah has it all, check it out! And in case you didn't get a chance to, watch the big reveal video after the jump.

I used to really enjoy the Oprah show. Not so much anymore! Is it just me, or DOES ANYONE ELSE NOTICE HOW MUCH AND HOW OFTEN SHE INTERRUPTS HER GUESTS?? I have gotten SO aggravated when her guest is about to say something that catches my interest only to have her interrupt and then the guest never gets a chance to finish their thought! Drives me NUTS!!

Well, I haven't watched her show in a very long time because the apes at the zoo are more entertaining.
SiastaEg obviously needs and wants some attention. Poor baby.

Yeah, thanks for giving me some.
I have enjoyed some of O's shows over the years, but I agree about her interrupting her guests repeatedly. Also, her give aways do not always include the taxes the recipient will have to pay for the "gift". And many of the items donated are given to her show by the sponsor, although she never mentions that. I've also grown tired of her know-it-all attitude. This woman is as messed up as any of her guests or loyal audience members.

I was at first happy to hear O was retiring or whatever so I
wouldn't have to see her anymore but then realized she's probably
gearing up for a presidential campaign of her own since the other O owes her one for getting him elected. Would be nice if she once in awhile donate to all races and not just hers.

2.5 million is nothing for a person worth nearly a BILLION DOLLARS. Why would the Australians pay for 300 Americans to go to their country? Many Americans work, and visit that lovely country all the time... Stop hating on Oprah. Her show is on in many countries around the world. Many overseas absolutely adore her. Yeah she is a racist alright. Her audience is always at least 80-85% White. And do not say something stupid like she is prejudice against African Americans. YAWN.
