Kid Rock Testifies Over Waffle House Brawl

Only Kid Rock could be involved in a Waffle House brawl and not be able to live it down.
Robert James Ritchie, a.k.a. Kid Rock, testified Thursday in DeKalb Count Court in Georgia for an assault case from 2007 involving a Waffle House customer, Harlen Akins, 41, and a member of Kid Rock's entourage, Davina Barnes,
AP reports.
Although Ritchie plead guilty in March 2008 to a misdemeanor charge of simple battery, Akins is suing Ritchie and his entourage $6,000 for medical expenses from injuries suffered that night.
On the final day of testimony, Ritchie contested that he and his gang acted in self-defense."If you look at me, Bossy, Jason and Bear," he said at the court. "If we wanted to hurt this man, we could have hurt him very, very bad."
Ritchie also added it was his entourage, not he himself, involved in the physical fight, and that he never touched Akins. "I gave it to him verbally, I said, 'Shut your mouth, man,' Ritchie explained.
As for the actual fight, Ritchie says it was
nothing serious."We didn't beat up [Akins]," Richie claimed in the courtroom.
According to the
Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Akins previously admitted smoking marijuana before the incident, and had known Barnes for 15 years. The report has Akins testifying that the fight started originally with a text message exchange between him and Barnes.

It is impossible to fall out of love. Love is such a powerful emotion, that once it envelops you it does not depart. True love is eternal. If you think that you were once in love, but fell out of it, then it wasn't love you were in. There are no 'exit' signs in love, there is only an 'on' ramp.
