"And the Salahi's are the biggest reason for that. At first, execs thought they struck gold with all the attention the couple got over the White House dinner. But now they realize not all press is good press and this couple's involvement in the show has turned more viewers off than on."

I won't watch RHOFDC until the Salahi's are off. I cannot believe Bravo even had them on the show, after all the dirt came out about them. They are really bizarre. Sure, Bravo won't let them talk about the WH incident, so they wrote a book?? LOL Such frauds!

"Reality" shows are the ultimate oxymoron. They are so contrived and fake they have no rivals. As far as the Salahi's go, they rival only balloon boy's father in their display of narcisism and willingness to do anything to get attention, even if that means garnering the total disgust of everyone exposed to them.

Real Housewive was filmed in it's entirety BEFORE the "gate crashing" incident. And, the Salahi's, by law, can't discuss anything with NBC/Bravo. Beside's, if that Real Houseives was filmed before the intrusion, there is no reason to talk to Bravo.

You could see that the other "Housewives of DC" did not like Michaela when they were doing publicity for the show last month.
I am amazed that people actually waste hours of their lives watching this crap. I swear you actually get dumber watching shows like this. You are killing valuable brain cells people!
Thank God! Unless they are the new Heidi and Spencer, they can just go away! But I have a feeling they are so hungry for what they think is fame and will always scheme to get the next headline. They don't realize people are laughing at them and not with them!

I agree ... thank you God for making Bravo see that they were hurting the show by having them on. That husband ... what a hunk of nothing. I mean there are n words for that fake wanna be .. whatever the hell he is. As for her .. what a skinny blob of nothing. No way she has MS I do not believe that at all. She just needs to be center of attention.
I have only watched one episode, what a joke! Michaela and Tareq playing so called polo. My God it was embarrasing watching them making fools of themselves. Playing polo at a trot, I think not! Michaela honey, heels down when you ride, she looked like she was riding in a pair of stillettos.

The fact that Bravo gave these disgusting examples of humans any more attention is what was wrong with the show. In fact, what's wrong with all those "REAL HOUSEWIVES" shows is the fact that NONE of those women are real housewives. They're just really self centered and obnoxious. Try being worried about losing one of your jobs that helps you feed your kids because your 20 year old car just broke down on the road and if you are late for your crappy, minimum wage job, you'll be fired, because there are 100 women waiting for that same, crappy job.

Amen Heather! As a real Housewife, I can't stomach to watch any of these shows. These women have no concept as to what a real housewife does all day long, day in and day out. I find it a crying shame that shows exists, and that people actually watch them let alone believe this is what we do all day.

The Salahis? We call them the Sa-loppies here in DC. Real Housewives of DC? I think not. Aren't four of the five living in MD and VA? That's not really in DC, is it? Real Housewives in DC would never showcase their dirt for the world to see. Its not smart politically. In this town, even the lowest people on the totem pole know you don't shoot yourself in the foot by airing you laundry.
