Adam Lambert Slaps Photographer Around in Miami

One minute you're throwing out peace sings while lounging at the beach in Miami and the next you're delivering a slap-and-grab on a pesky photographer. All in a day's work for 'American Idol' runner-up Adam Lambert!

"Eeew paparazzi killed my peaceful afternoon on the beach!" the singer, 28, told his Twitter followers Thursday. "They're real good at provoking, but there ain't any pics or video of the bs they spew out."

No, but there are plenty of images of Lambert slapping, grabbing and damn-near mounting the photographer, who is seen trying to escape the grasp of the singer while holding onto his camera.

In other images, another man, possibly Lambert's friend, is seen trying to break up the fight.

The Miami Beach PD is investigating the incident, according to TMZ.

The 'For Your Entertainment' wailer was wearing a large straw cabana hat and goofy sunglasses at the time of the encounter, which he apparently thinks was awesome.

"Hahha the photos are hilarious!!! LOL please everyone forgive me for that hat," he said on Twitter. "I was attempting a disguise -- clearly failed."

Lambert finished second to Kris Allen in the eighth season of 'American Idol.'

Granted, paparazzi are losers but why would any of them want to be photographing Adam Limbert? Seriously, a made for TV "star" of no consequence or talent who offends the average American. Two losers duking it out.

'...damn near mounting the photographer'??? What kind of back-handed slur was that? Had it been someone like Mickey Rourke you wouldn't have used slap or mount in your description of the altercation. I'm only suprised a reporter of your talents didn't have Lambert trying to 'scratch his eyes out'.

He is fab! I saw him in Kansas City, Wichita, Denver, Springfield and Oklahoma City, Dallas and New Orleans... It is a great show and he's a nice guy. I get that some don't "get him" but... it hurts to see him slammed all over for no reason!! ENJOY YOUR SHOW!!

Listen Adam is a celebrity (to some people anyway) and being in the public eye photographers will want to get pictures of him. If he doesn't want his photo taken then get out of the limelight.

I can understand that type of reaction if the guy had the camera shoved in Lambert's face & actually upsetting his day but this seems to be a fad for celebs (?) to get pissed & prove their authority by taking a swing at someone. When I go to a crowded place & cameras might be in use it's just an action to be ignored. This just seems to draw far more attention & disturbing than the filming itself.
