Bold! Michael Moore Trashes Canada While in Canada

Michael Moore frequently praises Canada in his documentaries for the country's health care system and its non-violent ways, but, of late, the Michigander's northern neighbors haven't been on his good side.

"It is absolutely shameful how Canada has behaved toward those who have resisted this [Iraq] war," Moore said to reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Moore tore into Canada for turning away AWOL U.S. soldiers seeking refuge from the war during a Mavericks sidebar session while attending the Canadian film festival, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The documentary filmmaker reminded reporters that times were different when Canadians helped out draft dodgers during the Vietnam war.

"This country was so generous to those of my generation who did not want to kill the Vietnamese, and they opened the border," Moore said.

Different indeed. The Canadian government has been adamant about keeping out any U.S. war dodgers in recent years.

In Lori's reply to Bob, she says that Michael Moore is in it for the press coverage and the money. Funny. The same could be said for Sarah Palin, witch doctor afficionado.

How can you not attack his appearance, it is so out there for everyone to NOT ENJOY. The man is a looser, mental and physical.
He is so into himself I am not sure if he even likes himself. His world must be awfully miserable, all he does is go around looking for negatives in this world and if he can't find them, then he just makes them up. What a toad.
