Teresa Giudice's Husband Joe Sentenced to Jail

As if the Giudices aren't entangled in enough legal battles already, RadarOnline is now reporting that Giuseppe "Joe" Giudice, husband of 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star Teresa Giudice, was sentenced to ten days in slammer on Wednesday for driving without a license.

The construction company owner previously had his driver's license revoked for 12 months in March after a DUI arrest that also earned him community service and a fine, not to mention a trip to the hospital for his injuries (the January arrest occured when the father of four drove his car into a utility pole in suburban New Jersey).

Joe Giudice will reportedly begin serving his sentence next week.

Teresa's husband has also been fined, according to Radar, to the tune of $1000, and will have his license suspended again for another twelve months.

The couple, who filed for bankruptcy last fall, have been plagued by financial trouble, including plans to auction off loads of luxurious property, and the revelation that they were accused in New Jersey court of hiding major assets when originally filing for Chapter 7 protection.

Far from the courtroom, Teresa has also battled rumors about her husband's fidelity. She told PopEater earlier this month, "Trust me, Joe gets enough love IN our marriage, he doesn't need to look anywhere else."

Er...it's jail not prison. He'll probably get the celebrity treatment and Teresa will cook for him and slip the food through the bars.

Joe seems like a great guy so it's sad that after all he has been through with his business and financial woes, the bad publicity from the show, everyone knowing his business and the intense responsiblity in supporting his brew, he now has this to deal with. There are thousands of men and women (who are not celebrities) dealing with a mountain of problems due to the economy and pressures. Maybe all cars should be required to have an ignition interlock device. Of course with that in place, all the people at MADD will lose their jobs and many lawyers and cops will actually have to move on to other projects. if the sober drivers really cared, they would demand that all cars have an ignition interlock device.

Surprised he actually got 10 days in jail. Always thought he was like Tony Soprano and got out of everything. Afterall, how does he and his crazy wife get to 11 million in debt. Most people would not be able to get away with charging things to that level. They belong in a trashy trailor part and if there is any justice in this world that is where Teresa and her family will end up.
