Will Sarah Palin Upstage Bristol's 'Dancing' Debut?

Mama Grizzly, on the sidelines? Sarah Palin, who knows a few smooth moves about about winning votes, will reportedly be taking a seat in the ballroom audience when 'Dancing with the Stars' premieres on Monday night (8 p.m. EST on ABC).
A source has now confirmed to
Access Hollywood that the former Alaskan governor and vice-presidential candidate will appear on the live season premiere episode to support daughter Bristol, as the 19-year-old rookie steps on to the dance floor for her first 'DWTS' performance with partner Mark Ballas.
Bookies in Vegas are betting against the teen mom, but any presumptions that her child can't take the top prize may just be catnip for the GOP star, who likely hopes her loyal following will pause the tea partying long enough to phone in decisive votes for
Bristol.
Whether the judges will be influenced by the political powerhouse in their midst is another matter. After all, Carrie Ann Inaba is a native of Hawaii, a state famously proud to be President Obama's birthplace, while the other two judges aren't American -- Bruno Tonioli (Italy) and Len Goodman (England).
Having Mom watch your every move might not be every girl's solution for calming the jitters during a live TV broadcast. Nevertheless, Bristol admits she needs all the moral support she can get: "She's my number one cheerleader and I can't wait for her to come watch the performances and just see me in a whole new light," said Bristol, according to People.com. D
uring a recent 'Tonight Show' appearance, she fessed up to Jay Leno about her non-existent dance background: "I was a basketball player, soccer player...[I] never danced at dances or anything, so I'm nervous."
After an eventful year in the tabloids, including the surprise engagement of Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston -- a reunion that reportedly infuriated Sarah Palin and quickly fizzled -- both mom and daughter seem ready to waltz onward and upward, perhaps even to disco ball victory.

The answer to the question is: Most likely. Sarah Palin would never miss an opportunity to make political hay, even to the detriment of her own children.

I don't think Bristol will make it past the first round. The judges will vote her off just to get rid of her obnoxious quitter--I mean mother.
Naw...Bristol will do a great job. Just like her awesome mother is doing for the United States by highlighting the disgusting habits and traits of the president and his anti-American buddies.
and obama is so different?
get over the jealousy...and grow up...she asked for her mother to be there...she said it on the air...why dont you leave them alone....let them live their lives and you go suck an egg...and try and find a life....pathetic green-eyed liberal monsters
:) Liberal stooges never miss an opportunity to sling their nastiness at the Palin family.
The old "bleeding heart" liberal has been upstaged by the "heartless" liberal.
God save America from these people.
WE can only hope that Ann Coulter and Sarah run together to bust the snoots of the left's Self important elitists
You conservatives are only fooling yourselves. You can't get over the fact that your methods and policies failed miserably. You have only yorselves to blame for the condition this country is in.
Sarah Palin is not going to let her daughter be in the limelight if she cannot have it too. This woman is such a devious publicity seeker it is disgusting. Bristol is too young to realize how much of a star wannabe her mother is. I think she will soon find out. Miss Bristol needs to grow up a lot and mommie dearest should stay home with her other children and her husband and let them mature without her help.

Why liberal women hate Sarah so much:
Sarah Palin grew up, married her childhood sweetheart, and went on to be a somebody.
Liberal women have to find rich and powerful men to marry so they can ride his shirt-tails. Imagine having to sleep with a sleezebag like Bill Clinton to make it to the top.
Sarah Palin probably should show up at the first show if she wants to see her daughter dance. Bristol likely will not be on the show for very long, in fact the first show might very well be her last.

Why bother with either Palin? Neither are stars..unwed moms of ex-governors don't count for much. And if it weren't for the media loving Palin and not for sure her brain, we wouldn't be having this discussion at all. I know we are lucky that Mc Cain lost the election and you don't even know it.
What a bunch of negative folks at least give her a look then decide You don't know if you don't try .ac

Who is minding the other children in Alaska?

Maybe dad? Like other parents don't travel? You are so ridiculous!
Wow, angry much Sandy? Your bad syntax we will let fly for now, but you sound batty just like Sarah herself! It would seem Palin is only a mother to her kids when the cameras are rolling, where was her attention for the skanky daughter when she was under her roof getting knocked up out of wedlock? Or allowing the father of said child to help raise it, not just one unemployed and going nowhere fast single mother.
Why is it okay for any of the other dancers' parents to be there to offer support and when Sarah wants to, she's out for publicity? Did anyone make these kinds of remarks when Donny Osmond was there every night to support Marie? Talk about a double standard. I'm not a Sarah Palin fan either.

Because bkcawthra Sarah Palin doesn't do anything unless it benefits her and her only. And if she is worried about what David Letterman said about Bristol just wait until the "mainstream media" put their hooks and crawls into her and start to critize her dancing, her this, her that, Mama Grizzly will say they are being mean to her, well honey I mean Quitter, when people speak or write the truth, it isn't being mean it's them doing their jobs! Sarah and Bristol go home and take care of the babies you each chose to have but now are allowing others to care for. Selfish greedy women!
It's not the same. Palin is there for politcial reasons, not to support her daughter like other parents. Palin talks about 'family values', but hasn't been around her own family and husband for months at at time. She talks out of both sides of her mouth....but whatever side she talks from...it always about Sarah Palin, not her daughter or family.
Actually, I thought the same thing about Donnie
