Singer-songwriter Bruno Mars was arrested early Sunday morning in Las Vegas for suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, the Associated Press reports. Mars, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, was found with 2.6 grams of cocaine in a Vegas resort bathroom. The singer faces possible felony charges. Hernandez, whose song 'Just the Way You Are' is currently No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, was arrested after being detained at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. He had performed Saturday night at the Hard Rock's Wasted Space nightclub.
According to the police report, after Hernandez spent an extended amount of time in a bathroom stall, a bathroom attendant alerted hotel security. When he left the stall, he was approached by a security guard and asked to hand over any narcotics he had. Hernandez handed over a bag of cocaine from his jeans pocket.

Jeez. The guy has barely left the starting gate and he's been caught doing drugs already? Wow. Some powerful drug dealers are trolling for victims in the entertainment industry. I guess with the recession, only entertainers have the money to buy drugs. Damn!

I really like Bruno Mars. He is very talented. I thought he was different. He seemed like a real gentleman. I wish he hadn't gone out and done such a stupid thing so early in his career, let alone his life. I mean he is only 23 for God's sake! He is very talented. I hope he will stop doing this stuff.

That's what 23 year olds do. They party get drunk do some drugs, some of them grow up and others get addicted. That's life.
