That's the first time I have ever sen him looking like his dad.
Who is the anorexic chick in the photo?

that would be his daughter, good looking girl
She is one fine looking lady is who she is. Who are you to judge?
Nobody, right?
The girl is the actress that plays his daughter in the movie..
Sally - "That's the first time I have ever sen him looking like his dad. Who is the anorexic chick in the photo?"
That's not his son...That's Shia LaBeuf who is in the movie. And the girl is Carey Mulligan who plays his daughter in the movie. I'm pretty sure his oldest son is in jail...and his other children are young.
If Rob Shuter isn't the biggest phag kyk lying heeb ckocsukcer I don't know who is

Don't sugar coat it Phuque, tell us how you really feel.
The (somewhat) good news is that this type of cancer has a 60% cure rate. The bad news is that before his treatment is over, swelling of his throat tissues may cause him to need a tracheotomy. I am sure he has the very best care. I wish him well. My husband wasn't so lucky. Within a month of the end of his treatment his cancer raged to a stage IV. A month after that we lost him. Count your blessings every day.

Hi Karen:
You are very saddening Michael need sympathy and a wish to make him feel better because of his gradual recovery, that will take a little time to heal, not you talking about you husband death at stage IV cancer of the throat, there are some survivors and he is one, sorry to hear about your husband he should have gotten a second opinion.
Geeze, Meta, how dare you suggest that Karen and her husband should get a second opinion. You know absolutely nothing about her situation except what she told you. And as far as suggesting that Michael Douglas would ever read these boards, that would be amusing if it weren't so pathetic.
Karen, I am very sorry for the loss of your husband.
Karen, Meta is an idiot, please overlook her/him. You KNOW what you are talking about. So sorry for your loss, God Bless......
Karen, so sorry for your loss. I had stage one throat cancer over 11 years ago and had to be operated on to take out of the tumor. I then had over 30 rediation treaments and I suffered for years before I could eat. Michael is having both rediation and chemo and am I afraid even if he does make it he will never act again. Such a fine man and great actor. The very best of luck to you and your family Karen.
His type and stage of cancer only has a 30% chance of surviving 5 years after treatment. I went through his exact treatment 13 years ago and I was only stage 3. It is a miracle he is doing anything in public. This course of treatment lays you out to where you just want to lay in bed and feel so bad you just want to die. He has my utmost respect and admiration for doing anything in public.
Meta, are you crazy? when someone is diagnosed with something as serious as cancer Im sure they got second, third and fourth opinions!
Karen, I'm so sorry about your husband. I lost mine, too, 4-1/2 years ago. He was dx'd with stage IV lymphoma. I hope Michael Douglas is luckier than our husbands, but the fact is, stage IV is always, always serious. The people who sugar-coat it don't have a clue. He's in for the fight of his life.
It's not surprising he doesn't feel well. Most people stay out of public places and rest during this time both after and during treatment.
The radiation could scar his throat but often the effects go away with time. There really is no knowing exactly. He should rest though.

Unfortunately with stage 4 cancer the prognosis is usually always death within a very short period of time, usually within 30 days. The cancer treatments he is undergoing or has already had aren't going to save the poor mans life, they are just going to take away any quality of life he might of had if they hadn't done anything, with the same sad result. I wish Him well, but people need to know that this great man will not be with us for much longer. May God bless his Soul.
