911 Caller: Bryan Masche Tried to Take 3 Kids and Guns on Trip for 'Leverage'

"There's an issue going on right now." That's how Bryan Masche's father-in-law began a 911 call to Camp Verde, Arizona, police earlier this month after the 'Raising Sextuplets' star began loading three of his screaming children and "some guns" into a van during a dispute with his wife. PopEater has acquired audio from the phone call from the Sept. 11 incident.

Hear the First Call:

Jenny Masche's father told the dispatcher that Bryan was "loading up three of the kids right now and it's kind of like leverage," he said, adding, "He's in one of those frames of mind. I'm a little apprehensive."

When asked whether Masche had become physically violent with Jenny, the father-in-law, whose name has not been released, said no, but that "she doesn't want him to leave because if he takes three and then he files [for separation or divorce] or whatever happens, then she's got three kids here and three kids there and then all of a sudden it becomes a bargaining tool. And they should be with her mother."

At this point, the argument between Bryan and Jenny Masche, whose show airs on WE, had not accelerated enough for the caller to ask for police assistance at the home, but there were signs thing were getting unstable.

"It's okay right now," he said. "[Bryan] just loaded some guns into the back of his van and he's had eight years of being a cop, according to him."

A short time later, the father-in-law called back and asked the dispatcher to send an officer to his house. He said Bryan stole Jenny's cell phone and described the scene: "He's started to load one of [the children]. He took her out of bed. He's got her in the back of the van."

Hear the Second Call:

The two men then begin arguing and the audio becomes muffled and, at times, inaudible. In the background, you hear the sound of one or more of the children, ages 3, crying loudly. "This is the attitude, this is the reason I do not want you in the car with the kids," he said.

When police arrived, Masche resisted arrest, claiming he "didn't do anything," according to the official police report. Bryan grew belligerent and refused to be subdued. "Bryan locked and held his arms in front of his body in a manner to prevent them from behind secured," the report says. He was threatened with a Taser but "complied prior" to its deployment.

Masche was eventually loaded in a police car and later pleaded not guilty to three counts of domestic violence involving disorderly conduct and threats and a single count of resisting arrest. He is out on $3,500 bond and is due back in court Oct. 7 for a pretrial conference.

Back in 2009, Bryan and Jenny admitted that raising six young children was difficult and caused a lot of tension between them. "We have totally brutal fights," Jenny told PEOPLE.

The couple were a "work in progress" and hoped to resolve their marital problems. "When you understand that there's no way out of marriage, that forces you to work on your marriage. If we're going to be stuck with each other for the next 80 years, we better make it good," Bryan added.

This guy needs to get help before he explodes. He is an angry, explosive personality & is very dangerous. Why wait for tragedy to happen???? It is only a matter of time. The wife should take the kids & move away. She needs to protect them anyway she knows how. How many more calls to 911 will it take??? What are they waiting for???

He is crazy. Take the kids & run. How many calls to 911 does it take??? Why should the kids have to listen to these outbursts & be exposed to a dangerous situation. I would't trust this guy with guns. Is everyone nuts??? The mom doesn't seem too stable either. Poor kids.

I watch this show and omg I would be afraid if i was her.he is out of control. he is nasty, mean and full of himself. he is a time bomb waiting to happen. jenny take those kids and move back to be near your parents if you havent done that already. i was married to a cop once and they think they are above and beyond the law

sorry just using your name to say something about this. The doctors that let women have six babys at one time should look into the people first. it is very hard just with one let a loan six. I feel bad for him because it is just to much to deal with at times. They should have never went to Florda to start with and the job and all that.

HERE WE GO, MAN BASHING TIME JUST LIKE ON THE OXYGEN CHANNEL! I looked at these replies, 99.9% are women. And of course, it's the "MANS FAULT"!! NATURALLY, no one has asked the important questions like:" WHAT IS THE WOMAN DOING TO MAKE SOMEONE THIS ANGRY???? or WHY IS HE SO UPSET???. I caught my ex with hidden bank accounts and her thinking was if you leave out important facts to a story or situation YOU NEVER LIED OR CHEATED!! Wonder if that made me angry?????

Having many small children will encourage parents to stay together, although parents of multiples have a really high divorce rate.

I had 3 under 3 (twins) and even with a good paying job at the time, it wouldn't have even covered daycare. And the stress is even worse when you are on your own. Otherwise I would have been divorced 7 years before I eventually did.

he is the male version of Kate Gosselin. Neither of those two should have custody over any child. Whether you like Jon G or not he was the better parent and always loving with the kids when Kate didn't have him working his butt off. As for this jerk. I've watched the show but it was to painful. He is just like Kate G, arrogant, cruel, self involved. It was just to hard to watch him berate Jenny all the time so I stopped long ago. If it had just been her and the kids the show would be fine.

What happens to these people with "litters" and reality TV shows? Kate G. thinks she is a celebrity, needs security, and talks about her "career". No talent, self important, rude, and letting a staff raise her 8 little paychecks.

You've got to be kidding, right? Jon G. is/was a lay self serving slob who would have rather been somewhere else. He had to be rode to get anything out of him. SOMEBODY had to step up and take charge. That man cdoesnt want to deal with his kids full time. hes right where he wants to be.... living alone, enoying a single life, chasing skirts and blackmailing Kate and the kids for funds.

Thank you!! I was beginning to think I was the only one who thinks Jon Gosselin was right...and I'm a female!! I quit watching Jon and Kate Plus 8 because I could NOT stand how Kate treated him. So degrading...how much more was he supposed to put up with? So they separated and he found a girlfriend...boo hoo. It was because of her that he quit his job, and I agree that he should get some money from Kate plus 8 since they're his kids too. I have no clue if he's working now, but I'm sure if he isn't he'll get a job soon. He's not the leech everyone's making him out to be.

The difference between him & Kate is Kate has some OCD control issues this guy is LAZY hes always trying to leave the all the work to his wife & dont get me wrong people will only do what you let them do so shes at fault for letting him have his way! If you have 1 child or 10 it takes two parents to raise them..its a shame

Kate Gosselin may not be everybody's cup of tea, but she seems to be a good mother. Who stayed and who left? Jon is the crazy in that picture!

I totally agree with you, Jon was a better parent than Kate was. Kate and Bryan are just a like, self centered, horrible to there spouses. Jon and Jenny where the better parents, Hands down. I don't think Kate and Bryan liked there self at times.Jon had to leave so she wouldn't be screaming in front of the children. I hope the children remember how Kate and Bryan where so horrible to there spouses that they had to leave. Kate was constantly hitting Jon, If it would have been Jon he would have been in jail. I wish Jon and Jenny and the children the best. No one likes to be constantly hit the face, Kate wouldn't like it.
