First? The Hoff Shocked 'Dancing' Fans Dropped Him So Fast
David Hasselhoff was feeling hassled after becoming the
first celebrity voted off 'Dancing With the Stars' on Tuesday. Friends and insiders close to the 'Baywatch' star and the hit show tell me David was shocked and humiliated by the surprising results.
"David thought he had a bigger fan base and just can't understand what happened," a friend of The Hoff's tells me. "He honestly thought he had a chance to win this competition. He would have never agreed to even participate if he thought for one second he would be the first to go."
And just like his dance moves, the bruised actor didn't exactly accept his defeat with grace.
"David is blaming everyone but himself for the vote," an insider tells me. "Backstage after the show, he was blaming the producers, the lighting guys and even the costume department."
Get this, apparently David is convinced if he performed in some 'Baywatch'-inspired red swim trunks and had more say in his choreography, he would never have been sent home.
You gotta admit, it cannot be easy to be the first to fall in a talent and popularity contest, but someone has to. Now, David joins the likes of Shannon Doherty, model Josie Maran and Belinda Carlisle, in being the first to go in their respective seasons.
"Of course, David is humiliated," a friend of the burly-chested star tells me. "It's embarrassing. If it wasn't enough to say goodbye to judging 'America's Got Talent,' now for the foreseeable future, he'll be the guy that America decided was less talented than 'The Situation' and Bristol Palin."
Ouch!

His "drinking problem" is that he cannot seem to get enough!

What makes me better than Bristol Palin? Well, for one thing I did not have a child in High School; for another thing I have made a life for myself, as opposed to simply spending my mommies money, I also went to college...

Bristol is making a life for herself without aborting her child or marrying that human insect, Levi. She is a public speaker for a noble cause, ABSTINENCE, for which she is doing a great job. I just wonder if you would condemn all the numerous Kennedy brats who all got government jobs and are paid on the public doles because of their name? Would you also condemn Chelsea Clinton who got all her jobs through her pervert dad and her crooked mother? Bristol is an honorable girl, didn't ask for the notoriety but is doing an exemplary job with the situation she has been thrust into. She is also doing a great job on DWTS even though she is a total non professional. You betray your credibility because it is obvious that you are a pathetic left wing liberal who doesn't agree with Sara Palin.
Don't be so hard on the people that cann't dance. The show has always pitted people with no dancing talent against those that already have dancing experience. It is fun to watch how people improve.

An interview with him on tv prior to the contest he related that he didn't care if he got votes off first. He wanted his dance partner (sexually?). Maybe if he had a few drinks and a hamburger in the shower before going onstage he might have done better. I know....pair him up with Kate Goslin!

DWTS SHOULD GIVE HIM A TAPE SO HE COULD SEE HOW HE LOOKED. NOT GOOD.

Look David, You were on this Show to DANCE....NOT from being on KNIGHTRIDER/ BAYWATCH! You didn't even TRY to Dance, like you're suppose to!.......Somebody had to be the FIRST to go, it might as well been you!!

Did anyone see David on Jimmy Kimball before dancing even aired. Helost my vote talked how great Kym looked, how he wanted to date and go to bed w/her. Think he was drunk to act that way and say those things.
Reply
Maybe part of the reason he was not voted for was his remarks on a late night show. All he was thinking about was bedding his partner. He should have been thinking about his dancing. To degrade woman that way, Shame shame.

Hoff was did not dance well...agreed. But Situation was far worse. He is a smart mouthed punk whose only talent is lifting his shirt to show off his misshappen abs. "Sit" just stomped around...he should of went first.

No surprise here......he is a disgusting ego-maniac.....yuck! It was my prediction he would be first to go. Andddddddddd didn't he state on Jimmy Kimmel that he wanted to be voted off first so he "might" get a chance with Kim???? EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I met David a couple of years ago in Atlanta on the set of AGT. He is so full of himself for no reason. Yeah, in the 70's he was a cute guy, just like all the other mullet wearing guys, but he lost that cuteness when he did 2 things, 1. became a stupid, sloppy drunk and 2) became so full of himself. He needs to just retire and go back to Germany where they love him.

I wish TV would quit shoving these ego Maniac Creeps down our throats. Most of us never enjoyed his work, if thats what you want to call it.

I agree that she will stay on a few weeks. Why not? After all, like last seasons Kate Gosselin (terrible dancer) she has her mom`s fan base out there. Dancing Contest? what contest?
