That was fast. Just before midnight on Friday, Lindsay Lohan was released from jail. The actress, who confessed a week ago on Twitter that she was ready to "face the consequences" for her latest slip-up, spent little more than 13 hours locked up in Lynwood, Calif., according to People.com, after flunking a court-ordered drug test (in which cocaine was reportedly detected) in violation of her probation terms.
Her previous stint behind bars began July 20, and she was freed on Aug. 2, after serving 14 days (shortened from 90); she went straight into rehab but her original three-month stay was also shortened.
Earlier on Friday, Lohan had been denied bail in Beverly Hills Superior Court by Judge Elden Fox, but his ruling was reversed later in the day by Judge Patricia Schnegg after Shawn Chapman Holley, the actress' lawyer, appealed for her client's right to bail.
After the new ruling, Lohan was permitted to post $300,000 bail. Now, she must be fitted within 24 hours with yet another "SCRAM" bracelet (her third) to monitor any alcohol intake.
And the habitual night owl is also ordered to quit her favorite haunts on the club scene: the new ruling requires her to stay out of any establishments where "alcohol is the chief item for sale."

She will continue doing the same life style with the same family and friends and will expect a different result. They should issue a court order to keep her Mom away from her.

Yes, or she will end up like Marilyn Monroe. Is that what she wants? Is that what her family wants? She's well on her way.
Hey Pepper, Don't forget dear ol' Daddy- He's been in & out of the can just as much as his daughter has!! I have to agree with others on here this time- What this kid needs is a serious lockdown in rehab!! Enough already!!
I wouldn't say she'll end up like Marilyn Monroe - probably more like Jim Morrison or Jimi Hendrix. Linds is already living more like a self-destructive rock star than so many musicmaking men these days.
as i said yesterday, she would be out by monday.

Yep, I remember you said this. I had hoped that Judge Fox would be no nonsense, and he apparently was. This new judge, however, proved the judicial system (once again)to be a joke. LL broke the conditions of her probation, the very least they could have done was keep her in lockup until Monday...Ah well, I guess in the long run, I don't really care. The courts don't care about her, why should I?
The American justice system???

The Ameican justice is a double standard joke. If you are famous and have money you can do anything you want. Ask OJ, Paris, and linsey.
You are correct, Nancy, the decision to overturn the no-bail Order is an outrage, and Judge Patricia Schnegg should be disbarred. Yet another pitiful example of a judge showing favoritism for a so-called celebrity when a non-celebrity would remain in jail. Judge Schegg should be disbarred.

Why not just hand her a loaded handgun. I never thought I would say I feel sorry Lindsay Lohan, but it seems the court is wanting to see her destroy herself. It's like telling a child not to do something, never following through with a punishment, and then scratching our heads when they keep misbehaving. All I heard from the "experts" yesterday on tv was how THIS time she would definitely have to serve her full sentence. I really want to see her get better, but between her mother and the judge - poor thing doesn't have a chance - shame on you

FREAKING UNBELIEVEABLE! So I guess if your a "star" or some kind of dirt bag in Hollywood you can tweet about your probabtion violations because you would KNOW that NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will be done to you! Again why aren't they treated like every other ordinary person and pay their dues!

Why??? Because they can pay off anybody who gets in there way....money, money.
Hello, Bunni, why do you think this crown in Hollywood LOVE the liberals??? Do what they want and have a liberal justice system to boot. What's there not to love. Gotta make you sick. It does me.....
Rich spoiled hollywood kids can do anything they please and get away with it. I could care less what happens to them but I am concerned about all of the rest of us who have to drive with these people on the street. They endanger innocent lives and the court system in california does not seem to care.
I can't figure this Judge out. Is he just waiting for her to kill herself and maybe others to set an example? The treatment of her is lunacy and will only lead to her demeise.
