That was fast. Just before midnight on Friday, Lindsay Lohan was released from jail. The actress, who confessed a week ago on Twitter that she was ready to "face the consequences" for her latest slip-up, spent little more than 13 hours locked up in Lynwood, Calif., according to People.com, after flunking a court-ordered drug test (in which cocaine was reportedly detected) in violation of her probation terms.
Her previous stint behind bars began July 20, and she was freed on Aug. 2, after serving 14 days (shortened from 90); she went straight into rehab but her original three-month stay was also shortened.
Earlier on Friday, Lohan had been denied bail in Beverly Hills Superior Court by Judge Elden Fox, but his ruling was reversed later in the day by Judge Patricia Schnegg after Shawn Chapman Holley, the actress' lawyer, appealed for her client's right to bail.
After the new ruling, Lohan was permitted to post $300,000 bail. Now, she must be fitted within 24 hours with yet another "SCRAM" bracelet (her third) to monitor any alcohol intake.
And the habitual night owl is also ordered to quit her favorite haunts on the club scene: the new ruling requires her to stay out of any establishments where "alcohol is the chief item for sale."

just goes to show you how crooked the law is anymore, you are a celebrity, you can get away with murder, long as you pay them large amounts of dough.

Doris,
You did not finish the line, "Money talks, BS walks". In this case, she just walked out of jail again. And one of these times, she is going to kill innocent person just walking down the sidewalk, crossing the street, or driving to the store. After that happens, the judges, the justice system, the lawyers, and the sheriff should be held accountable for her release back into society! They should be charged and forced to look in the mirror every day for the rest of their lives and have to think about their actions! What they have done is release a ticking time bomb back into society that will end up hurting or killing someone innocent. Just remember who is really to blame, LiLo, her parents, the justice system that can be beaten with money, the lawyers that don't do their jobs, and the sheriff for not finding room for her to stay in jail instead of an early release due to "overcrowding" ....
IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE WE READ IN THE PAPERS THAT LINDSEY LOHAN WAS FOUND DEAD OF AN OVERDOSE.
THENN THE PAPERS AND TV NETWORKS WILL BE FILLED WITH STORIES FROM "SO-CALLED EXPERTS" EXPLAINING WHAT WE SHOULD HAVE DONE TO PREVENT HER DEATH.

These judges suck!

So if you or I did the same thing what would happen to us. There is no true justice. If you have money or fame you're above the law.

WTF? If it were you or me, our butts would have still been sitting in jail from the first 90 day sentence in August. Two sets of rules baby....one for us, and one for them. Pathetic.

Was it everything u remembered it to be?

Total mockery of the judicial system. At least they could have made the bail absolutely non-refundable!

WHAT JUDICIAL SYSTEM............OBVIOUSLY IT DOESN'T APPLY TO THE RICH AND FAMOUS.
Maybe it will take a serious OD to get her silly azz attention ... In the mean time that "B" should be in jail because she thinks this is all a joke abd she has laughed at the entire court system and she will continue to violate the laws ... If it were you or I we'd be in jail ...

so how long is this going to be allowed? until she kills someone and their child with her car or until someone finds her blue, bloated, drug induced corpse face down in a hotel toilet like the former anna nicole? how about californica elect someone with balls to put these people behind bars? this crap wouldn't happen in ohio...

Just be thankful you live in Ohio and not that stinking, rotting cesspool called California with its bunch of Hollywood idiots, silly joke of a governor and their slew of spineless judges, and people who worship sex, drugs, and all kinds of craziness. This child is on a collision course and she thinks it's all a joke. I have no sympathy for people like Lindsay Lohan. I'm glad I had parents who loved and cared enough for my siblings and me to teach us right from wrong and to suffer any consequences that came as a result of our stepping outside the boundaries they set for us. Rich people throw money and material things at their children and feel justified in ignoring and condoning everything their children do that is wrong, illegal, immoral, or stupid. Although being stupid is no crime, it certainly can lead to getting in trouble.
Stars get special treatment, wait she in not a star. If it were you or me, we would sit in jail til the next court date. She will screw up between now and then. She can't help herself. Train wreck, wait til it crashes, she will learn nothing til she kills an innocnet person, then what.

The ruling should NEVER have been reveresed. Its sending out the wrong message to Lohan and her fans .I fully expect Lohan to flunk yet another drug test before Oct 22 or die from an overdose.
