It's official: former 'Bachelor' Brad Womack will return to the show and continue his quest to find true love, PEOPLE reports. Womack, 37, shocked 'Bachelor' fans in 2007 when he rejected both of the final two bachelorettes, DeAnna Pappas and Jenni Croft, on the finale of season 11. Now he's getting a second chance to find his soul mate. The news was revealed during Monday's 'Dancing With the Stars.' "Brad, this time, pick somebody!" quipped 'Dancing With the Stars' host Tom Bergeron.
"At first I was skeptical," 'Bachelor' host Chris Harrison told PEOPLE. "But the more I thought about it, the more I fell in love with the idea of him coming back, getting another shot." Never before had a 'Bachelor' or 'Bachelorette' rejected both finalists.

I agree that they have sunk to an all time low when they have to bring back losers like Brad Womack. He had his shot now give it to someone else. He probably can't find dates in Austin because everyone watched the show and saw what a jerk he was so they aren't interested. I am afraid I won't be watching this time. (And, I am sure his brother was married last time too. He was one of his "inspirations" to settle down and find a wife and had kids.)

I think you should reconsider that choice quickly before you lose whatever few viewers you have left.

My vote would have been for Chris also -- total hunk

if his heart wasn't into it, then i think it was right not to pick the wrong woman and end up in an awkward and hurtful situation ... that being said, this show is way too scripted and very boring ...

Looks like a bad re-run!

This is the first Bachelor that I absolutely will NOT watch..I think this is a bad idea and you will lose many, many viewers...he gags me and all my friends and we will not be wasting our time...

I'd like to see this guy select the final girls, and then have the one he selects REJECT HIM at the end. Payback hurts.

I think the decision is a brilliant one. Brad was brave NOT to choose someone that he knew was not his life partner, and I respect him for that. What girl would want to be chosen falsely?

This inane show goes from bad to worse! Is this guy the only one left in the US to partake of this sloshy drivel? And to think we have to go to the polls in November! Where is America going?

People still WATCH this show???

He looks like a slightly cleaned up version of Danny Bonaduce...

I love the show!!! And yes, I will watch. It's a shame that when you don't do what other people think you should do, whether it be Television or Real Life , people get angry at you. Why are there so many "Mini dictators" in this country. It could be your mother, your sister, your brother, your father, your co-worker, and even your friend. Actually, it's nobody's damn business. Why should Brad have picked somebody just because that's what everybody wants him to do? Sounds to me, Brad is his own man and that would be the kind of man that I would want to have in my corner. People, go get control of your own life and STOP trying to control everyone else's.

Well you're "1 in a million"! There's someone that has to be the odd one out. I'm not saying Brad's not choosing a girl in the end his last time was wrong, if he had not the right feelings for anyone. Just that we shouldn't have to have him again as the one to watch. And OF COURSE it's ALL our BUSINESS who they put on the show, as we're the viewers that make or break the show by our viewing or not viewing. They need a high viewership to give them the rating good enough to keep the show on the air!!!
I'm glad Brad Womack will be the next Bachelor. That give me a chance to watch other programing for 12 wks - or get to bed an hour earlier. Big mistake ABC! He wasn't that popular the first time around, why give it another try?

I didn't enjoy him either. There aren't any other men out there to be the bachelor? He is awkward in front of a camera and not fun to watch. The way he said goodbye to Deana and the other girl was so weird. "I'm going to have to tell you goodbye." Or whatever he said sounded like he was reading from a script. The fun part of this show is having someone new and fresh to get to know week after week. They really dropped the ball with this one. I have no desire to watch it.

ABC I think it is time to take that show off the air. It is so dumb. Watched it one season and never watched it again. And to bring back the guy that didnt choose anyone boy you guys are desperate.

I wont watch Bachelor this year either....are they that desperate that they chose to bring him back?

If we have to watch the same people over and over again, I'd rather see the Italian Prince. He was sexy!!! Not watching Brad a second time, whether it's him or his twin. Not watching.

Al Gore should do this. He likes to date anyway. :-)
