Mel Gibson Gets Joint Custody of Baby Daughter

Documents signed in May, before Mel Gibson's audio recorded toxic meltdown, show that Oksana Grigorieva signed off on a child custody agreement providing Gibson with unsupervised contact with the couple's baby daughter, Lucia.

Shortly after the May 16 signing of the document, which allots joint legal and physical custody to both parents, Oksana disavowed the agreement. TMZ reports Oksana claimed not knowing Mel would be given unsupervised time with Lucia.

The documents tell a different story, iterating in detail when each parent was to have time with the girl and the nature of the shared custody. Custody is set to shift to an even 50/50 split when Lucia turns 3.

The documents also state that when Mel did not have Lucia, a nanny would facilitate Skype conversations between the father and daughter.

The couple went to court when Oksana refused to let Mel see the baby on Father's Day. In one of the most shocking Gibson explosions released on tape, Grigorieva says to Gibson: "You hit me, and you hit her [Lucia] while she was in my hands! Mel, you're losing your mind. You need medication."

Gibson, shocked by the child abuse claim, later tells her: "I want my child, and no one will believe you. You have my child and she doesn't need a gold digging, f***ing Russian c**t, wh*re for a mother! We all know what you are! I will have that child, easily."

Oksana's reply? "I'm sorry? You will not have this child."

Mel should win custody of his daughter. Chmoxana is the worst mather in the world, she left Lucia so often,and I doubt if the baby knows her. She needs money for herself, but she does not know americans. If they hate you, you'll get what you deserve.I love this , So does My boyfriend .he is almost 11year older than me .i met him via agegapsingl es.c 'om a nice place for seeking age le ss love.which gives you a chance to make your life better and open opportunities for you to meet the attractive young girls and treat you like a king. Wrong, the child loses. With the parents hating each other this much, this poor child will be put in the middle for the next 18 years or so.

It's amazing how everyone thinks that children should always be in the custody of women whenever there is a problem. then men are always accused of domestic violence. when women make these false claims they should loose custody.

B.S.! The court system these days believes in shared parenting/shared custody regardless of the bad behavior of either parent (excluding abuse or criminal behavior). As for accusations of abuse? They are exaggerated and thrown both ways in all nasty divorces, and sadly only harm the child/children involved. Lastly, if anyone's noticed? There have been no psychological evaluations done on either of these two losers because generally, if one spouse demands one done on the other, the court system will require it on BOTH.

Must be nice to be so wise. Since we only know the ugly public part of his life we don't have a clue. My own marriage broke up after 4 kids and 40 years due to boredom with each other. It was a mutual thing even if he did take the blame for leaving me. As far as this maneating piece that he hooked up with...she knew what she wanted and went after it. It is just too bad that there is a child in the mix. I also think that she is just out for more money and then all will be well as far as the child is concerned. After all, he could have walked away and just sent a support check for the child each month. Unless and until you have lived in his life or the like of it, keep your 50 cents to yourself.

Where do I start! First I really really do not like Oksana Grigorieva just because you can tell she is so unbelievable with everything she says and/or does! Just like David Spade and so many others have said as far as the recordings of Mel goes, Well so Mel might have flipped out but who hasn't? Obviously we ARE NOT Hearing what she did to provoke him!! She more than likely got him started and then started recording him! SHe set him up!! ALso, its clear by her history that all ses after is money from any man she can get her hands on! And any Judge would be messed up to give her 75-80% more child support for the baby than she recieves for her older son! Mel already provides her home and other living cost! She is SOOOO Fake and I hope Mel gets the baby!! He has like 10 or more kids and they have all turned out good!! Now, in closing let this all be a lesson to all you men who decide to have a mental break down and leave your loving wife for a younger woman!! THEY ALMOST ALWAYS GET TAKEN TO THE CLEANERS BY THEM AND CAUSE THEM SO MUCH "MENTAL PROBLEMS"!!...GOOD LUCK MEL, WE ARE ALL PRAYERING FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!!!

However, I think she has manipulated and staged the entire situation, and his drinking didn't help him steer clear of a nasty situation. Sad that a child has to be caught in the middle. Guess I am the only one who see's this womans response to Mel hitting her sounds like a rehearsal of lines. I have children and if anyone hit me while holding my baby, I sure as hell would not be speaking calmly to them. It all sounds so rehearsed to me.

Mel got set up. Sure he is a screamer but he never hit his first wife or kids so why hit this thing?
