Four days after a judge briefly detained her for failing court-mandated drug tests, Lindsay Lohan has entered a live-in rehab facility in Southern California to seek help for substance abuse, TMZ is reporting.No other information is given in the report, other than that the 'Mean Girls' actress will likely stay at the facility until her next court date on Oct. 22.
The actress dominated headlines going into last weekend when she was denied bail by Judge Elden Fox, taken into custody, then granted bail by the day's end after a different LA County judge overturned Judge Fox's ruling.
Lohan, 24, was behind bars during those hours due to an admitted relapse: She recently failed two crucial drug tests, for cocaine and illegal Adderall use. According to the terms of Lohan's probation, a failed drug test means she will spend another 30 days in jail.

Throw her dumb a** in jail where she belongs. The courts are to lax on treatment of the stars, football and baseball players. Make some of them do time like everyone else would have to do and maybe (however, I doubt it) some of them will wake up. Just because, they have money and some sort of status, should not exempt them from proper punishment.

what's her drivers license got to do with anything? she doesn't need one. she's a drug addict, got money and is above the law, therefore a driver's license is way down on her list of priorities.

Obviously, she is a danger to society and herself. Th elegal system is a joke. When she ends up killing an innocent person while she's intoxicated, then just maybe, they will keep her behind bars.

If she thinks going into rehab on her will sway the judge on Oct 22, she better think again. She keeps playing the system and winning. How long will this rehab stint last, I give it til the end of the week and she will be out and say she is cured. She is a lost cause.

Really, does anybody out there, any average citizen on the street REALLY think that if they were in Lindsay Lohan's predicament, would get the same chance after chance after chance, and get away with it? Hmmm, I doubt it.

Someone in jail on the same charges should file a law suit against the state for discrimination. I don't know much about legal issues, but I would think this would be a clear cut case of discrimination, at least it seems.
The best way for her to get clean is in a jail cell for 60 days. Rehab doesn't work for her. NEVER WILL!

So I guess the court ordered rehab that let her out early was wrong about her not needing more treatment? Or is Lindsay just good at gaming the system? She clearly needs help. No one is stupid enough to drink with an alchohol detection device on them. That is something only an addict would do.

When Lohan get's out, causes an accident which kills somebody, the judge that granted bail should be charged with aiding as an enabler!!! What a ####### world we live in!!!
Did you all know that Lohan and Hilton were lovers? Yes, the Lesbian chicks were caught messing around, using needles to shoot up heroin. So, they both need to be cell mates. Throw the keys away. As for Paris, I hope her fortune gets taken away for good, due to all her drug activity.
