I think that it's not so much the issue with the adults with which they are concerned. I think it really has to do more with the children and child welfare.

DRRNS seems to think it is ok to flaunt the laws regarding multiple marriages in this country. I wonder what would happen if one of the women decided she'd had enough as some have in the past. I understand it sin't purdy. The women are shunned and denied right to see children in some cases.

You know when an unscrupulous zoo puts a sick monkey in front of the public profit we don't blame the monkey. I am offended that TLC is profiting from this social diviance in the same way they have profitted from the immodest Duggers who apparently have never heard of moderation or that there is a population explosin that is threatening to kill all of us! Selfish greed on the parts of the producers and OMG what a way to role model to young people. You know a bunch of sad teenagers are going to take that as a sign that they should bog thier lives down with a million kids to get on TV. And you know now that as the channel makes polyogmy look ordainary then there are going to be young women who see being enslaved to a man as if they really need a man is rediculous. Where is the polyamourous Gay Family? WHy a straight guy with women? Why not mix it up there TLC? I mean you are living in the past as far as realtionships are concerned.
Anyway don't blame the monkeys. Blame your neighbours for turning on TLC at all. I for one will not be watching that at all.

Who cares what they do as long as they're happy, have decent living arrangements and the kids are fed, clothed and raised to be decent adults. As far as being "concerned about the welfare of the child" there are plenty of people right here in New York that should be hung out to dry for doing to their children what they do.

The investigation is a cover because many of the public officials like the police are involved n this way of life so these charges get pushed .

Unbelievable. This is patriarchal exploitive sexism. It has nothing to do with "procreation" and everything to do with male dominance and female stupidity and subservience. Were that not the case, why do you never hear of ONE WOMAN "going after" FOUR MEN? Because it is sexist and about the ego of men, that is why. Which these women are responsible for enabling and worshipping. It is not a "living arrangement", most of these marriages are "arranged" because the women are brainwashed. It is the European Caucasoid's version of The Harem. It is also why men, especially in Europe and America are facing an exploding infertility crisis, reproductive diseases and a failing chromosome. Their selfishness and narcissitic behavior is catching up with them. But worse than the perpetrators are the people who enable them.

So how many of this "family's" boys will have wives when then grow up? 1 in 4? The boys are of no use to this religion. Only the girls are of value for a handful of men to use for their own pleasure. It may not be technically illegal but this arrangement certainly qualifies as child abuse.

Its important to investigate THESE people. Meanwhile, many a welfare mom with litters of kids and numerous "baby-daddy" are excused from any scrutiny because they know marriage cuts into their benefits.
