About That Rachel Zoe and Brad Goreski Split ...

Celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe and her dapper assistant Brad Goreski have officially split up and are now saying that there was zero drama behind their decision, however sources tell me that's bananas! This split was ugly for sure.

"Brad was sick of doing all the work while Rachel got all the credit," a fashion insider tells me. "While Rachel feels used by Brad. She feels as if she taught him everything and the second he got a chance to leave her high and dry he did."

That's a far cry from the official line coming from the pair. "He did this with such class and elegance," Rachel told PEOPLE, while Brad said "I hope she'll continue to teach me more and more."

Rumors that the fashion power pair were in trouble started circulating a few weeks during New York fashion week where Brad seemed to be welcomed more than Rachel.

"Fashion week was definitely the turning point," a friend of Rachel's tells me. "Brad was sitting on the front row of every show and getting invited to as may events as his boss. However the final straw was when Brad appeared on the cover of The New York Times style section. Rachel hit the roof and reminded him he was her assistant and it was called 'The Rachel Zoe' show not the Brad Goreski show. That was the moment that the two of them were over."

Sources tell me that Brad has already been approached by several production companies about staring in his own fashion reality show. No news yet on whether or not Rachel's stable of celebrities, including Demi Moore, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz or Anne Hathaway will remain with Zoe or follow Brad.

I did not like Taylor either, so glad she is gone. Nasty piece of work. I think Rachel did not want the blood test because she is hiding something. Like stuff to keep her going when she's exhausted????? Believe she is contemplating adoption so Rodger better get ready to be mother and father to the child. Think he is just as addicted to the fame as she is but he is waning where she is not. Took me awhile to warm up to Brad but, like him now and wish him the best.

I think your right about the blood work; probably diet pills. I think Brad digs the spotlight too, but is feeling neglected (understatement) I think Rachel wouldn't even know Brad was gone if you put a bathrobe and a man-scarf on a pillow and propped it up at their kitchen table. The only time those two talk nice to each other is when they're doing the 'bing' ads.

I was going to say the same thing about the blood test. She had been out the night before. She had something in her system. Why else would she get so upset about a blood test?

First of all - I was a big fan of the show THE FIRST SEASON but then it got to be too much - that B word TAYLOR then Rachel - when I first saw the headlines of the article I figured she and her HUSBAND had broken up as he deffinitely shows signs of being over her! As for her stars - well, they are not especially on top of the world of celebrity - I mean they're NOT that famous anymore and haven't done much lately - if she was successful she'd have a LOT more TOP NAMES in her stable! I thought she was at least 45 who'd had some work done - so I was suprised she's as young as she is but anorexia does a number on you!

Yes, she's skinny. She wants to stay that 'sample' size so she can pull anything off a designer's rack and wear it. I think it's very telling that Brad was getting all the attention. He WAS the one doing the work and frankly, had the better personality. I'm tired of her name dropping - how many times did we hear about Demi and Cameron? Hell, even Ann Hathaway was more Brad's friend than Rachel's. This season sucked. She's shallow and so one dimensional. I'd be way more impressed if she was more like Bethany Frankel and had an entire life. And yeah, I'd give Roger a baby, too. Rog - call me. Kisses.

I like the show too, but Rachel, she looks like a hobbit, hair all hanging, hiding her face, the baggy clothes, over sized everything and then there is Rodger, who wants to start a family, and she is so driven by fashion, yeah fashion is not all warm and cuddly, smells good, and smiles a lot a baby does. Cut the hair, put on a pair of jeans and a t shirt and go practice making a baby

I have a feeling Brad will be successful in any endeavors he pursuits. He's ambitious and talented, but has a kind heart and a gentleness that Rachel doesn't have. This season was so much better without Taylor, though without Brad, I don't see how the show will go on. I really don't want to watch yet more footage of Roger wanting a family and a less fashion-centric life and Rachel scowling.

I'm sad to see Brad go. He added a lightness to the show that was refreshing. I loved his sense of humor.

I think that we can be way too cruel about Rachel. Her weight her style I mean give me a break to each his own.

It would be scary for anyone who has devoted their lives to their career to switch tracks and take on motherhood. I wish them all the best.
Fashion is a cruel and fickle industry.

Rachel won't settle down with a child, all she'll have is her chanel clothes and her louis'and that cannot keep you warm at night or say "I love you momma".....Ms. Zoe needs to open them eyes and look at the whole picture she will loose Roger before she could say Armani...

My vote is for Brad. Zoe is WAYYYYYYYY consumed with her stars and dressing them every second of the day! I actually feel terrible for her husband. Zoe has not learned to put her job aside when she's done dressing the stars. All her conversation is about DRESSING THE STARS NONE STOP- how boring is that? This women has no life other than to dress the stars. lol typical new yorker!Meanwhile, her husband is getting tired of the same ole same ole............

I am soooo tired of all the whining that Brad does. Yes, she should slow down and take it a little easier. Yes, he does a lot of the work. But she still has the contacts and still does a lot of the PR stuff. But Brad and his whining about this and that and the over-the-top theatrics is just too much. I'm glad he's gone. Unfortunately, Rachel is teaching these guys (Taylor and Brad) what she knows about the business, including her contacts, and they all dump her and go out on their own. I imagine it's hard to do what all the things required on that job. But they are lucky she took them under her wing and should be grateful! She should also look at Demi and Kate Hudson to see how they handle motherhood AND a career. Motherhood has not hindered their careers at all! So lighten up Rachel and have a baby already!

Internship at that level is called paying your big boy (or girl) dues, and Brad did go from incredibly grateful to overinflated and whiny in seconds flat. However, he was funny and charming, and Ms. Zoe is very self-absorbed and hilariously demanding. And it's not like Brad didn't know what the job curtailed. I don't feel bad for either of them. My sympathy goes to Mr. Zoe. And advice: Get a life of your own. You're starting to sound like that little denizen from Whoville: "I AM HERE! I AM HERE! I AM HERE!

Brad was NOT in the front at every show, in fact I saw him sitting several rows behind Rachel and many I attended. Even some of the smaller "indie" shows such as a certain Scandinavian designer who showed at Exit Art had him in the third row with the bloggers!
