Report: Oprah Winfrey Scores Sit-Down With Oksana

We may have a winner in the battle to score the first TV interview with Mel Gibson's ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, and it shouldn't come as a surprise: Oprah Winfrey. According to an UsMagazine.com source the deal is done, however Winfrey's production company, Harpo, has held off on making an announcement.

According an earlier report by RadarOnline.com, Oprah was duking it out with 60 Minutes for the opportunity to speak with Grigorieva about her tabloid-ready relationship with Gibson.

If/when she sits down with the departing daytime Queen, Grigorieva is expected to talk about allegations the 'Braveheart' star physically and verbally abused her during their brief, but baby-producing, relationship.

Oprah would also be remiss to not address charges Grigorieva tried to extort Gibson, the father of her daughter, Lucia.

In July, Gibson, 54, came under fire when a series of audio tapes of him screaming at Oksana surfaced. Grigorieva has since been accused of using the audio rants to attempt to extort more than $10 million from him.

Heads up Oprah. She's wired!

Well, there goes any lingering respect I may have had for Oprah Winfrey. Obviously she can't resist playing for ratings, and giving this *dirty*, getting-old, Hollywood-leech/ho any more air time is the lowest thing Oprah's ever done. I have no special feeling for Mel Gibson but my gosh, why give this unfortunate custody case and his pathetic meltdowns any more publicity. It's very cruel to his child (and his older children).

When are people going to stop paying attention to Oprah Winfrey? I think she's narcissitic and has been promoted to such a rich powerful position by someone who hates America and all it stands for. As a consequence, Oprah Winfrey has promoted things that have been bad for America - particularly Barack Obama.

You are absolutely right!! But you forgot racist, she doesn't really like "whites". I stopped watching her show years ago, she had some issue about racism on her show, when a white woman referred to herself as "the black sheep of the family" Oprah admonished her, later when a black woman referred to whites as "snowballs" that was okay. Last time to watch her show, now that she is getting into tabloid level shows...I wouldn't watch anyway!! For those who say she "gives" sure if your black you get a hand out!

I totally agree with you. Its about time the public realize what a menace this woman is. She is one of the biggest racist I have ever seen. Always swore she would never promote politics, but the first black man running and she goes "BONKERS" She did not care that this man was qualified, only that he was black. And all of her "faithful followers' fell for it. Now look at the mess we are in! Oh yea, I forgot if you do not think he is "the chosen one" you have to be RACIST. That is BS!

My Son and his wife voted for Obama. They are "white' and in their 30's. My Son is very sorry he cast that vote.

Don't clump everyone into one category. There are different levels of Rep/Cons. What I find in my past is that I have my opinions on things and it is ok that not everyone agrees with me, but my librial friends try to shove their thoughts down my throat. I like Oprah she is a smart woman and I respect that. As for Mel's ex, I won't watch that show because I dont think she deserves airtime. I don't think what he did was right either.
