Auction at Teresa Giudice's House Is Canceled

Don't show up at Teresa Giudice's house in New Jersey on Sunday looking to bid on some sweet, sweet credenzas or over-sized candle sticks because the auction related to the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star's bankruptcy is officially kaput.
The public sell-off at 6 Indian Lane in Towaco, originally scheduled for Aug. 22 but later nudged to Oct. 3, has been replaced with a private sale that Giudice's lawyer believes will snag more money for the goods.
"When the sale is conducted, the Giudices would get $52,000, because they are allowed that as exemptions," their lawyer, Jim Kridel, tells
PEOPLE. "There would have been a shortfall. What if they got $30,000, but they owed $52,000 to the Giudices? It wouldn't help, so we said why not have a private sale? It would be best for the state, the creditors, the trustees and the Giudices."
A source with knowledge of the situation tells
PopEater that the auction was less about paying off debts and more about creating a public embarrassment for Giudice and her husband, Joe.
"It was never really fair since filing bankruptcy is a punishment all by itself," our source says. "It's not a lollipop parade. You don't just walk away unscathed and not paying your debts. That's not how it works. They restructure loans and try and pay as many people back as possible."
The couple, who filed for bankruptcy last fall, have been plagued by financial trouble and the revelation that they were accused in New Jersey court of hiding $250,000 when originally filing for Chapter 7 protection.
Among the items that the general public will not be able to buy anymore: a Schaefer & Sons Grand Piano, a 6' ceramic urn, a suit of armour and three massive chandeliers. The auction website is still up ,
so check out a full list.

"The Auction at Teresa Giudice's House Is Called Off"
EVERYTHING about Teresa Giudice should be called off.

It would be best for a small circle of friends who will cash in.
The bankruptcy judge should be horsewhipped.
Her belongings are just like her TRASH. I wouldn't bid on any of her over priced crap. Maybe her and her family will just go away like her house is going to go away to the highest bidder.

maybe she and her family...use proper English. You sound like the trash you are claiming that she is.....
How much for her panties?
Reply
Mike you can get octomoms panties for cheap... they no doubt smell more though
She doesn't wear panties, they were replaced with a jock strap when it had it's operation.
SICK!!!!
I'm sorry but I have absolutely no sympathy for Teresa but only her children, to be raised in a society where mommy gets to buy whatever she wants but when they can't afford live that way anymore they just file for bankruptcy? She is living a life of champagne taste with beer money. Put your money where your mouth is and live within your means.

Now her italian "friends" will by the items cheaper than they would have been sold for at public auction and will simply give them back to the family.

When are the children going to be taken away and these 2 pieces of sh*t put in jail? They are nothing more then Gh*nn*e Trash!

I liked Teresa until the reunion show. Now I see her better for what she is. I forgave her spending because I liked her. No longer. She needs to feel bad for the honest hard working people she didn't pay.

Good Gosh! I can't believe the address was released! With all the genuinely violent nut cases out there, this is dangerous information for her and her family.
Whether she is a nice person or not, nobody deserves that.

She and her husband chose to be in the public eye. They have been to court, it's public record. We hear about it because they signed up for it.
who would want any of that gaudy junk anyway, i don't even think you could sell that at flea markets. you would have to pay the people to buy it and even that might not work. and by the way, who paid for that trip to Italy? I would bet that the people of Italy were glad to get rid of that 'tour' group and those whinny, screaming kids.

How many times are you going to post this? I think we all got it the FIRST time you wrote it.
She is a piece of work. Who would buy that crap. She & her husband belong in jail for not reporting that extra cash & lying to the bankruptcy court
