Amy Adams Flaunts Post-Baby Body at Hollywood Luncheon

It's hard to believe that Amy Adams just had a baby.

The actress, who gave birth to daughter Aviana in May, made her first public appearance since her first child was born.

The Oscar-nominee attended Variety's 2nd Annual Power of Women Luncheon, along with many other Hollywood A-listers.

The 'Julie & Julia' star looked fabulous in pink Roland Mouret dress that showed off her slim, post-baby figure.

Other attendees at the event included Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner and Eva Mendes, Usmagazine.com reports.

Adams is engaged to Darren Legallo, the father of Aviana.

she looks fabulous and it's not like she gained a mamouth amount of weight while she was pregnant. so losing it in 4 1/2 months isn't considered unhealthy and besides on 6 to 9 1/2 pounds of that is actually the baby the rest is fluids tissue plasenta and mamery glands among other things. and if she's breastfeeding/pumping then your gonna loose the weight even quicker. which Amy strikes me as the type that would breastfeed for the health bennifits to her and her beautiful baby girl and not only that the bonding time that gives like other actresses in her position have through the years. Joanne Woodward for example did it with all three of her daughters and to this day says that's part of why they're so close and she won an oscar before the oldest one was born. granted she'd also miscarried a previous pregnancy right before that oscars ceremony something hopefully Amy & Darren never have to experience though it can bring you closer together as it did for Newman & Woodward. which in a lot of ways Darren reminds me of Paul dark hair and blue eyes for one and another being how he treats Amy always holding her hand rubbing her shoulders especially while she was pregnant something I'm sure Paul also did for Joanne especially with the pregnancy that produced their oldest daughter Nell because that came only 5 months after the miscarriage so both of them were terrified of it happennening again. and he couldn't bear to watch her be hurt so deeply again because it wasn't fair that the most precious bond in a womans life other than marriage had to be broken like that and particularly on their honeymoon

I'll agree Amy is a cutie and a talented actress as well. if hollywood remade Hud with her as the maid Alma Brown I'd pay to see that. even though the actress that originated the part in the 1963 version of the film Patricia Neal {god rest her soul}. won the best actress academy award for her trouble. and like I said before she didn't gain a mess of weight while she was pregnant like Jessica Alba did with her daughter Honor she admitted gaining about 60lbs about what my mother gained with me 26 years ago and I weighed 11 ounces more than Aviana did at birth 7lbs 11oz
