Here's the Situation: 'Jersey' Star Ditches Jersey

First, Jennifer Lopez disses the Bronx, now word comes that Manalapan, New Jersey native Mike '
The Situation' Sorrentino no longer has love for the state that made him famous.
"Mike has wanted to get out of Jersey for years," a friend of the reality star tells me. "He hates it. He has always seen his future in New York or Los Angeles and now that he is rich and famous I doubt he will ever want to return to Jersey again."
The Situation recently told George Lopez on 'Lopez Tonight' that he is "definitely moving to L.A.," saying, "I love it out here, I'm definitely gonna move out to here."
However, what Mike didn't say in public but is saying in private is that he now feels he has nothing in common with the fine folks from Jersey.
"Mike will go back and tape shows for MTV but the second the camera is off he's on the first plane out back to LA," a TV insider tells me. "He's gone all Hollywood now. He thinks he's better than everyone and has gotten a huge head. He wants to be hanging out with Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise now not the folks at the Jersey Shore."
Of course tons of people flee their home towns for the promise of fame in Hollywood. One TV insider asks me, "Who would pick the Jersey Shore when they can have the Hollywood Hills?"
Well, um, ever heard of Bruce Springsteen or Jon Bon Jovi? I say let the GTL man leave, Garden State, you are better off without him. Plus you still got those fabulous 'Real Housewives' to be proud of.

There is info about the jersey cast heading to hollywood but there house will be in malibu california. The show is looking for ways to run a 3 season and maybe it's last season next year. with mike on his way up and pauly doing shows worldwide, and sammy is tight liped on her future entertainment career.

Third season is already done, dufus.
On that bit of news, property values in Malibu just dropped 25%...
And Manalapan, NJ property values just increased by 25%
The Situation lives right by me in NJ. We see him ALL the time - obviously not now since he's on DWTS... but otherwise, he still lives here.

I don't watch the Jersey Shore but have a son in his mid 20's. After college and having been born and raised in the midwest, he too had a dream of living in Orange County, CA. He's been out there since graduation and loves it. Mike Sorritino is a normal kid. They want to be where the action is. Go for it and have fun. As my son is finding out, you have to grow thick skin to live in La La land.

I agree with victory. He's young and making money. Let that young man enjoy his life. I'm sure that if he has a "lesson to learn" like alot of people appear to believe, he will learn it. We all did (and still do)!
I HAVE TO SAY, I DO NOT LIKE THE SITUATION ON JERSEY SHORE, HE DOES THINK HES BETTER THAN ANYONE ELSE, AND ALL HE KNOWS HOW TO DO IS LIFT HIS SHIRT, HE CANT ACT AND SURLY, HE CANT DANCE, HE MAKES HIMSELF LOOK LIKE A JERK EVERYTIME HE OPENS HIS MOUTH. HE SHOULD GO BACK TO SCHOOL AND LEARN HOW TO TALK. AND BELIEVE ME. HIS BODY IS NOT GREAT. THERE ARE BETTER OUT THERE. AND LIKE DANCING WITH THE STARS SAID TO HIM, GROW UP. YOUR NOT IN THE 80'S ANYMORE. PLEASE KEEP YOUR SHIRT DOWN. THANK YOU

Our beautiful state of NJ has enough of a bad image with the "real" housewives (in whose book?) and these ignorant uglies called the "jersey" shore. i say pack them all up and send them to california, they'll all fit in perfectly! we're a state with natural beauty - no place for these fakes!
