Looks like Jon Stewart isn't the only one making jokes at the expense of disgraced CNN anchor Rick Sanchez."It's a great loss to news ... and to America," laughed 'The Daily Show' correspondent, John Oliver on the red carpet of Comedy Central's 'Night of Too Many Stars.'
Sanchez was fired last week from his position at CNN after a six-year career at the network, a result of inflammatory remarks he made on a satellite radio program about Stewart's ethnicity and upbringing. Watch John Oliver talk about Rick Sanchez's firing from CNN after the jump!

Well, it seems you are an antisemite too. Bet you wish you could have been in Hitlers army
Shame on you
Hey Leroy
What a profound statement. Sienfled, huh. As my Jewish friends would say, you are a schmuck.
Quit perpetuating the "fired" word. Check your facts.
I am so sad to see Rick Sanchez get fired from CNN. He was one of my favorite anchors. I wish CNN would have maybe suspended him for a week or two, but not fire him. I guess he should have ignored Jon Stewart's remarks as he makes fun of everybody.

Martha, I loved Rick and am sorry he got fired. I loved the way he brought his family and friends into discussions about Hispanic issues.
A suspension would have made more sense. PLEASE BRING RICK BACK!!
I agree - Sanchez was a great anchor. I wish people wouldn't use the term "fired," because he actually "stepped down," when he realized his defensive but true words had offended some Jewish people. If Stewart would have said the same, he probably would have been promoted! Stewart gets paid for continually making fun of people and being "mean." If Sanchez would have said "bully" instead of "bigot," I think it would also be true. Remember, he was speaking in the wider context of socio-economic groupings.
He didn't get "fired." He resigned. The media and many listening are perpetuating this "mean" word.
So, what's new? Rick should have never said what he said. You do not bite the hand that feeds you. But his firing more than proves his point. In every aspect of life in Amerika, the victims are equal to the oppressors.

I always wondered why Rick Sanchez was hired by CNN? He is one of the worst hosts I've ever watched and that stupid "Rick's List"..ugh. Thank God CNN finally got a reason to fire him. I was really sick of his playing the race card. Won't miss you Rick!

What a mean statement!
Jewish people are, pound for pound, the most well off people in the United States. A great percentage are college educated and have professional occupations. They are incredibly disproportionately represented in government and the media. what's the freaking big whoop? Everybody knows this. At worst, these simple facts tend to suggest high achievement and perhaps a bit of nepotism, not too bad really. But, when you fire someone for pointing it out it looks EVIL and oppressive.

What a mean statement. Talk about bigotry! Mean, mean, mean - just like Jon Stewart was to Rick. No wonder he wanted to fight back!
