Lindsay Planning Rehab Photo Shoot to Earn Cash?

Cash strapped Lindsay Lohan has come up with a way to make some extra money while she is away in rehab. The scandalized star is planning a staged photo shoot documenting her healing that she will then sell to the highest bidder.

"Lindsay hasn't worked in so long that the only way she makes money now is from selling photographs," a friend of Lohan's tells me. "She can make an easy $30,000 to $40,000 a pop for a few hours work. However pictures of her in rehab getting better could sell for as much as $100,000."

This wouldn't be the first time images of Lindsay in rehab have been sold to the press. In 2007 OK! magazine published beautiful images of Lindsay reading self help books and doing yoga while she was a Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah.

"Nothing with Lindsay surprises me anyone," one weekly editor tells me. "You would think she would be focusing on dealing with her addictions not staying photo shoots. But this is who this girl is. She never thinks about the long-term solution but rather is always looking for the quick fix."

Lets hope I'm wrong and that Lindsay is finally seeking help ... not profits.

I honestly don't see what the big deal about this is, just cause she's planning on doing this dosen't automaitcally mean that she only cares about money and dosen't care about getting better, what most people forget is that not all celebrities are well off, they have to earn money just like the rest of us, and photoshoots are pretty much the only way Lindsay can earn money for now, so no she's being "scandalous" or "sleazy" like you idiots claim, she's just trying to get by. Besides Betty Ford is pretty expensive to stay at, (it's like 26,000 dollars a week) and doing this photoshoot might be the only way for Lindsay to be able to afford to stay there, so you guys REALLY shouldn't be so quick to judge.

Ms. Lohan was hilarious in Machete (still in theaters) as the strung out druggy daughter of the Senator's chief of staff. She was awesome!

i understand all you posters who are bashing lilo for this, and i do see your point... BUT, the girl needs money! she's barely working, had a great deal of trouble making bail, and as one poster mentioned, the Betty Ford center isn't exactly a charity... i support her in this - she needs treatment, it costs money, she needs to be there for an extended lenght of time, and she need the means to pay for it (unless y'all want to chip in) ...if selling photos is the best way for her to do this, so be it.....

She gets to rehab and her thoughts are not "how do I recover from addiction and save my life" but rather "how can I make a quick buck out of this whole rehab thing". Now that is true addictive thinking. I don't give this girl a chance of recovering unless she has a true turn around.
