Lisa Rinna Undergoes Lip Reduction Surgery
Lisa Rinna's plumped-up lips are infamous, but the 47-year-old actress decided it was time to surgically reduce the size of her puckers. "My lips started to define who I am," Rinna tells
PEOPLE. "That bothered me."
Last year, she confessed to having her puckers injected with silicone in 1986 but was surprised by the lack of support from the public. "I took a big hit for being honest. It gave everyone online permission to lambaste me. It hurt my feelings," she reveals.
The surgery was a success for Rinna who claims her lips no longer feel "bumpy and uneven." The actress says her mouth is still swollen from the procedure. It will require six months to heal fully. "It's a work in progress, but I feel fantastic."
"My lip has no lumps! It's smooth," she adds. "It doesn't matter what other people think. I did it for myself."
Rinna will star on TVLand's upcoming reality 'Harry Loves Lisa,' with husband Harry Hamlin.

When I saw her on "Dancing with the Stars" I had to turn away. ALL I saw were those ENORMOUS LIPS flapping around. It gagged me. LOL Thank God she's changing that look.

What possible difference could it make in anyone's life whether or not someone has cosmetic surgery? I like Lisa; I appreciate her honesty and openness. If this is what she wants to do .. so what? Go for it, girl!

well, she looks wonderful no matter what she does! Don't forget, when this botox and silicone first came out, no one knew the ramifications, so we all may have tried it! I wish her well no matter what!! its a brutal business!!

She was on the Hoda and Kathy weird show this morning and boy has she had some recent work done! The Restalyn fillers mixed with Botox - good grief -she could hardly crack a smile...she looked like Pricilla Presley did on dancing with the stars..how sad!

Glad she had the surgery done. Her lips looked terrible. She is a pretty actress and her lips just looked so fake. What made her think that she looked good with those big lips.

Lisa, glad you had this done, your lips looked very painful . NOW if only Hanna Montana, would do something, I am sure it is a birth defect, but with her money she should be able to afford to have her upper lip taken care of . She is such a beautiful girl, but all you see when you look at her face is that upper lip.

Wow... so many negative people out there.
Who among us women and some men, don't care about our looks? Who doesn't wear lipstick or lip liner to get that perfect look? So what if some go a little further. It's all the same ending. We want to look better. Not her fault that it didn't workout the way she would have preferred. Kinda like getting a bad haircut all you can do is wait it out till you can change it.
My My. Leave the girl alone. She's beautiful, talented and tries to keep it that way. Let's not fault her for that.
Here's a thought: toss your make up, padded bras etc. and be nice.

I didn't know about the silicone until recently, but always wondered about the lips. I thought they were ugly and a freak of nature. Why do people do stupid things like that, make themselves look stupid? I would like to see pictures before she had the injections, after the injections and now after the surgery. Dumb, Dumb, Dumb!!!!

JESSICA BIEL is another one that ruined her Lips!... she had too much collegen put into her UPPER Lip and now she has no cupids bow in her upper lip, and it looks horrible! Looks like just one big fat upperlip now! :))
