Jersey 'Housewife' Teresa Giudice Could Get Spun Off

Get ready Jersey, you're about to see a lot more of 'Real Housewife,' Teresa Giudice, as I'm told Bravo executives are discussing the possibility of giving the show's breakout star her own reality spin off show.

"If they can give Bethenny her own show you can bet that they will give Teresa one," a TV insider tells me. "You can't come up with a better script than Teresa's life. She's a mother and wife [of Joe] going through financial troubles and having to start all over again. Everyone has been hit hard by this economy and watching Teresa and her family struggle through problems will make for great TV."

Teresa is certainly one of the most popular 'Housewives' of all time, having sold more magazines (by appearing on the cover) than any other housewife INCLUDING Bethenny. Also, she's sold a crazy amount of copies of 'Skinny Italian,' her cookbook, so that's pretty solid proof that people just can't get enough of her.

"Bravo is sitting on gold with Teresa," one TV executive tells me. "No one could have predicted which wife would take off and which wouldn't. However I think we can all agree that Teresa is now the biggest star the franchise has ever created. It makes perfect sense that they are discussing giving her her own show. They would be stupid not to be talking about it."

When I contacted a Bravo spokesperson for comment, they cheeky devil told me, "Your Bravo insider has just as much chance of landing a spin-off show as Teresa."

How do you know they already haven't? Wink.

Bravo has reached a new low for ratings. I have absolutely stopped watching this channel, and if they give Theresa a show that will just validate my choice. This woman is the absolute bottom of the barrel of what I would want my daughter or her friends watching. If ever we need evidence that American has reached a new low, as in the Roman Empire decay of yesterday, this woman and her "friends" prove it over and over again each week. A true friend tells you the truth about yourself and wants you to be the best you can be. Her so-called friends just enable her, make excuses for her behavior, rationalized, and justify. With friends like that, who needs enemies. This group of women is about as worthless as a handful of confederate money.

Sick world, a large television network now to feature a brain dead total idiot, who has put her husband and herself so far in dept that they are bankrupt is now getting her own TV show.

What's wrong with more fun educational shows for our kids...God knows we don't need any more of the crap you are currently showing!

Bravo is not a network for kids. You educate your kids, not TV. I do agree this idea is ridiculous. At least Bethenny F. from HWNY has a career, a business, an education, and the smarts to build it all on her own honestly.

Excuse me, there is an excerise done with the remote control it's called push other channels if you do not like whats on, as for her getting her own show it so would watch it. And there was talk about Danielle getting her own show so how do you feel about that? You should really not make fun of Teresa's girls, it is what it is.

I support Teresa's' reality show! She is fun to watch as chaotic as her life is and her bratty children too! Joe... well, he too is an odd ball with his temper and always pleasing his girls one way or another. I hope Bravo does give Teresa her own show, it'll be fun to watch and see how things unfold now that she is not spending MONEY! Can't wait to see!
