Video: Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin Talk About 'Lip-Gate'

Earlier this week, Lisa Rinna admitted to surgically reducing the size of her infamous lips. And as "Lip-Gate" started to blow up around the web, PopEater's Rob Shuter sat down with the actress and her husband, actor Harry Hamlin, to discuss her lips, her recent surgery and why she's sick and tired of being defined by her pout.

Last year, Rinna confessed to having her puckers injected with silicone in 1986 but now realizes it was an impulsive and unnecessary thing to do. "Silicon in a lip is like going out and getting a tattoo – it was stupid, I don't know why I did it. I didn't need to do it. Irrational! Compulsive!" she admits.

But she did it--and for the first 10 years, actually liked how it looked. But then her lips started to change. "Scar tissue formed. Weird s--- starts to happen and that's why they got bumpy. I never had my lips redone. Scar tissue forms and they get bumpy. So after awhile, you go, you know, that doesn't feel too great ' she explains.

I think she could still reduce them more. By the way Lisa... people have been talking about your lips for 20 plus years behind your back. Actually, we've been screaming at you the whole time, but no worries, you finally heard. I wish everyone would stop the lip plumping. I haven't seen one person who looks better.

About time she got those lips fixed. They were the most horrible and fake set of lips on earth. How did she walk around with a liver on her face for so long?

Now, if she only changed her hair style, which she has had for decades, she could look much better, more up to date.

I think her hair looks great and it sets her apart from everybody else. If you have something that works for you why change it? I don't think it is outdated....I loved her hairstyle back then and I still love it.

Lisa Rinna is ugly as homemade sin. Lips, butt, face...don't matter. Its all Halloween stuff. Her old man musta been stoned (like he looks in the pic) when he proposed. She cant act her
way out of a paper bag...which is probably what he throws over
her head whenever they have sex.

The 'improved' lips are still pretty unattractive. She used to be really pretty before she started artificial parts and substances.

in the interview about her ugly lips (and i agree she is need a pork chop around her neck to get a dog to pay attention to her) harry said he got some knives and she said and I went AHHHHHHHHHHH I believe that is what she did to get on any tv show. I mean she can't act and she was never that great looking so i am betting she said AHHHHHHHHH a hell of alot.

She is an attractive woman, but I think the lips have always been over-the-top and detracted from her beauty. However, something doesn't make sense here. I'm a woman a little older then she, and have worked in NYC for many years, so I'm familiar with the latest cosmetic procedures. 1986 doesn't sound right to me, I don't recall lip enhancement being en vogue 24 years ago, but I haven't seen a picture of her from then. Lip enhancement became the craze around the time Angelina Jolie shot to fame along with a few others. I also question whether she had silicone injected in her lips. I've had restylane injected in my lips and it was wonderful...a very natural looking, slight plumping that wears away after approximately 6-9 months. Very natural looking, people cannot tell I've had the procedure, just that my lips look a bit fuller. My guess is that Lisa Rinna had surgical implants made of gortex in her lips. If that's the case, why not just tell the truth to forewarn other women of potential hazards?

Lisa had her lips done trying to be a big star. She is still trying to be a big star and isn't and her lips are not helping her. Her husband has no personality and if they are doing a tv reality show then the public must be desperite for something to watch.
