Kelly Osbourne Plans to Remove Her Tattoos

Kelly Osbourne is planning a massive reinvention and has announced plans to remove some of her tattoos after deciding they were a "mistake," UK's Daily Mail reports. Ozzy Osbourne's daughter -- who has more than 15 inkings on her body -- revealed the decision to get laser tattoo removal in her weekly column for British magazine Closer. So, what's the first tat on the chopping block? A keyboard on her arm and a heart and crossbones on her wrist. "I met with my dermatologist and I'll start the laser treatment as soon as I have time," Osbourne wrote.

"It will take several months, and while I'm not looking forward to the pain, I've heard it hurts less than getting the tattoo. I hope so! When I was younger I really do think that tattoos were my way of self-harming because I really knew it would upset my mum and dad," she wrote in the column.

"I was miserable, and I just went and got all these tattoos and I don't know why. One of them is a keyboard and I don't even know how to play a piano!"

Well, at least it didn't say "Winona Forever" -- which Johnny Depp tattooed on himself while dating actress Winona Ryder, from whom he later separated. Depp had the tat altered to read "Wino Forever."

The reality TV star reportedly decided to 86 the tats after having them covered with makeup on the set of her new film, 'Should've Been Romeo.' "I can't say I've missed them," she said.

Very good move on her part. I don't dislike tatoos but too much is not attractive. Kelly is a pretty girl and all that ink just distracts from her beauty.

I have have 3 treatments of lazer tattoo removal done on mine and let me tell you, the actual lazering doesn't hurt. Although the recovery time is a nightmare, it hurts SO BAD and takes forever! I am going to try "wrecking balm" it is cheaper and it is painless.

I'm so happy she is doing this. I simply don't understand the impetus to disfigure one's skin, and I'm very glad Kelly is taking this action. It just might very well send a cautionary message to other young impressionable girls who are thinking of inking their flesh. Let's hope so.

Now thats a girl with a head on her shoulders. We you are rebelling or dress a little like a thug it can be cool. Since she is starting to dress nicer and have a glam look it looks much better without tats. When I see them on the red carpet I just think it ruins the whole look. I love tats but not with every dress code.

Kelly good move, but please loose the blonde hair. It is not for you. A tad more on the golden brown side and cute young cut. It washes you out. Don't be like everyone else.
