NJ Housewife Caroline Manzo: I'll Set Lindsay Lohan Straight!

'Real Housewives of New Jersey' matriarch Caroline Manzo isn't shy about slinging the truth. The feisty star, who has raised three children of her own, tells PopEater she wants to take troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan under her wing.

"Lindsay needs to come live with me. I'll set her straight," Manzo told PopEater on Wednesday at a season finale party in New York for E!'s 'The Spin Crowd.' "That girl just needs some love and TLC."

Lohan made headlines late last month when she was taken into custody after being denied bail by Judge Elden Fox for failing two crucial drug tests -- one for cocaine and the other for illegal Adderall use. She was granted bail by the day's end after a different LA County judge overturned Judge Fox's ruling.

Four days later, she willingly entered a live-in rehab facility in Southern California to seek help for substance abuse. The 'Mean Girls' actress will likely stay at the facility until her next court date on Oct. 22.

She hasn`t taken her first step yet!! She needs to accept the fact she has a problem. Anyone that isn`t an addict or alchoholic cannot possibly help someone that is. You need to understand the disease and WANT to get sober. She isn`t there yet.

i hate carolyn- her kids are hardly perfect and i doubt she could do anything to "straighten" anyone out. the best she could do is offer lindsay a job at her sons future strip club/car wash.

I love Caroline, but she could not help Lindsay. Lindsay is a sociopath. She would lie to Caroline's face and tell her everything she wanted to hear and make Caroline think she was straight. Then go home and 2 days later be popping pills and drinking.
There is no help for Lindsay.

I say give Caroline, Lindsay, she is absolutely right! This girl needs a "REAL MOTHER", in her life. Lindsay has been motherless since she hit the screen. Lindsay needs a real mother figure in her life. Dina just wants to be Lindsay's party buddy and ride her coat tails for money.

I can't understand when i read about all these 'celebraties' that want to take Lindsay Lohan 'under their wing'. If these people are so concerned about an alcoholic/drug addicted individual, how about the thousands of addicts in rehab or roaming the streets. Its all about publicity. Lindsay Lohan has made lots of money in the past and still makes money [post jail interview and movies]and has her own family. If Lindsay Lohan doesn't care about herself, why should anyone else.

This womans ego is unbelievable. On the show she postured herself as the voice of reason and strengh. In fact she's a bully who has to be right when actually she's lonely and unhappy.
