The reason you haven't seen many tweets from Lindsay Lohan is because she's not allowed on Twitter in rehab.According to a source, the actress, who is getting treatment for substance abuse problems at the Betty Ford Center, is "only allowed to use her phone for two hours a day, and only to keep in touch with family and close friends," The New York Post reports.
"Before, she would repeatedly and compulsively e-mail her friends if she was ever in a situation where she felt lonely, and she would vent on Twitter," the source continued.
The phone policy is standard for all Betty Ford patients, so the troubled starlet can "concentrate on herself," the insider explained.

Oh boo-hoo, poor Lindsay, no wonder I haven't been able to sleep lately. She is in rehab, not a country club, of course from what I've heard that clinic is kind of a counrty club. Wonder how much longer she will stay there, I don't think she will stay there til Oct. 22.

OMG that's great news that they'll only deny her twitter and a cellphone. At least they didn't take away her COCAINE stash. She'll need it to treat her DISEASE. Yeah, right.

How many chance is she goint to get. I saw if she fails this time but her in jail for six month. Maybe that will scare the hell drugs out of her for good and put her in the general population.

I still cannot understand why this girl receives so much publicity. She has only been in a few movies and she has never won any type of an award. What is the BFD? just don't get it... sooooooo boring! Hope she gets better.. but jeeezzz people.. we need to upgrade our standards of what we consider worthy news!

I was in a rehab (not Betty Ford but similar, and not court-ordered), and the rules were exactly the same as this for everyone. There were a couple of relatively well-known people there the same time as me, and there was no favoritism, nor did anyone act as though they expected it.
Note that the article doesn't say that Lohan asked for or expected to be able to use her cell phone.

She's fortunate to be able to have access to her cell at all. Many rehabs do not allow cell phones, the patients have to use pay phones. And, most times the calls are monitored by staff.
I do hope that when she goes back to face the judge on the 22nd of October, that this little look good period isn't even considered. That she still needs and has to serve her mandatory 30 jail term due to her violation of the court order. Maybe then she'll have a little respect for the law. Otherwise she'll leave rehab and continue doing what she's been doing. It doesn't take Einstein to figure this out!

It doesn't say she's banned from having a little bump here and there! Oh you don't think she is? Are they testing her? If not they should be as she may think she's under the radar and can get away with it. After all she's the "Get Away With It Kid"!

If you have never been to rehab, you can't begin to understand what hell it is there. You have to confront what it is that you have done. Now that she does not have twitter, she can tell it to those that matter most. I see a lot of these post's that say a lot of negative stuff. Until you walk that mile, your lips are just blowin in the wind.Now, I don't claim to know this girl, but I know 10,000,000 just like her. Yea, they are called AMERICANS. Don't matter how you fix your habit, as long as it gets fixed. You go girl!!!The rest of you clowns, STFU.
